Evening everyone
Well not a great weekend, but also could have been worse.
Out last night for my mums birthday, it was her 60th and the first meal out since my dad passed away suddenly in October, so it was strange and sad, but nice to focus on mum.
Had steak and chips, my idea here was that as I was having a big treat for my dinner I wouldn't have a starter and/ or pudding. Which I didnt. :j
Then out for a post xmas get together with hubby's family today. Had parsnip soup so could share with little man, and then it was a carvery, but nothing like the massive eat all you want ones, this was quite refined. Lol. And no pudding. :j
So hoping to have at least stayed the same again this week. I just desperately want the weight to stop creeping on.
Hope everyone's had a good weekend, and a healthy one.SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -
Hello,
Would it be too late to join you please?
I'm taking part in a team challenge with a group on facebook, which started on the 1st Jan (once I'd recovered on 2nd for me...) but only lasts until the 13Febso hoping I can join you to carry on after that
The great thing is as I'm in the facebook one I have my weight as of 1st Jan and last week
I'm -4.4 lbs so far, that's just diet change, I use MyFitnessPal to track food (have done for about 3 years now on and off...) and planning on joining a gym tomorrow.
So please say you'll have me... lol
xI hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.
even when it feels like your not....0 -
Had 2 bad meals this weekend. Just hope my goodness the rest of the week cancels it out.
On to day 6 of 30 day squat challenge, and it's going fine.Zebras rock0 -
I still haven't started!
I'm going to weigh on Wednesday and join in with everyone else.
I have had a spendy weekend with too much food n drink due to youngest about to return to Uni and M.i.L's birthday (excuses - much)
Funny how I'm as reluctant to check the bank account as to get on the scales today?GC Challenge March £55.48/£2000 -
Morning all! I had a bad-ish weekend too.
On the plus side I didn't eat any chocolate! I won't go into what I did eat!
I've also got the bloatsies (and feeling like I've been kicked in the stomach!) so not looking good for weigh-in. If I STS this week it's a win.
I'm dragging myself back onto the wagon though and not giving into the temptation to eat my body weight in junk!

We're at pretty much the same starting weight, ArchersWell done on the weight loss so far! Do you have a weight goal or are you just cutting back and seeing what happens?

Shhhhh Tete they don't need to know! :rotfl:
Weekend wasn't too bad for me, I don't think? I might have possibly got confused and flustered in Starbucks and ordered this weird all cream caramel drink?! I only drank about a third of it before I felt sickly and left itBut I ate cleanly the rest of the day, drank plenty of water too.
Yesterday I nearly had a meltdown, I forgot a snack when I went to the cinema so when I left I just felt hangry. Started thinking about all the food I couldn't eat and was on the verge of tears by the time I got home :rotfl: Then to add insult to injury I had to go back out to buy more spinachWhen all I wanted, what I really wanted, was fried chicken skewers in peanut sauce :heart2:
Had some spare time this morning so popped to get some veggies for my dinner. Also got grapes and blueberries for my snack, and will be having the first HelloFresh box meal for tea tonightFeel awful for Shrimpy on the squats today! On day 12 myself and feeling okay, a little achy but doing fine.
Just curious, along with weight and measurements, is anyone taking progress photos?0 -
I've had a pretty bad weekend too (think chocolate, cider and big sandwiches!) so I'm on damage control now. Went to Tesco yesterday and all of the packs of bananas were in the reduced section for 6p each and loads of them were still unripe so I bought 3 massive bags!:money: Also bought a kg of carrots for 60p which I've chopped up for snacks to last me the week!Had 2 bad meals this weekend. Just hope my goodness the rest of the week cancels it out.
On to day 6 of 30 day squat challenge, and it's going fine.
I've just finished my first week and I can tell the difference on my legs and bum now. I got a pair of boots for Christmas which were very tight on my legs and they're not any more
Oh, Cinny I hate being hangry!!
I did weigh myself last night and I was at starting weight so I guess I've been lucky with any weight gain, as I normally weigh in the morning.
Good luck to those weighing todayOur Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

Wow some real bargains there.
If the bananas start to ripen to quickly for you, my recipe for a cakey/flapjacky like health bake is:
Mush the banana
Add granulated sweetner and cinnamon to taste
Stir in an egg
Stir in oatbran till it is a biscuit mix consinstency
Put blobs on a baking tray and bake till starting to brown.
It isn't as nice as unhealthy cakes and stuff, but it's not bad and if you are doing WW it's all filling and healthy, and I think it fits with SW too.
And good about your boots with the squat challenge. My knee highs are a little tight at the moment, so looking forwaard to them fitting more comfortably soonZebras rock0 -
Morning all, I weighed in this morning and lets just say it was definitely a loss! Seems that all the exercise is finally working it's magic after the pitiful loss last week. Will let you all know on Wednesday (unless you're friends with me on MFP and then you've already seen it!).
Had a good weekend on plan - went out for dinner on Saturday night and didn't have a starter or desert. Had a salmon bake that was basically a massive slab of salmon topped with crab meat, mash and cheese. Ate all the seafood and the massive side of vegetables and couldn't touch another bite. Have stayed relatively clean eating as well i.e. haven't defaulted to diet coke when I'm out and have stuck to sparkling water instead.
Back on the exercise tonight (think it's arms and cardio for a change). Made some Kale and Leek soup for work but I put too much stock in so it's just green water so lunch time should be interesting.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170
