Best of luck with the IVF
I must be in the minority, I have to cut back dramatically otherwise I just kid myself and I get so frustrated at 0.5lb a week I feel like I may as well not bother. Wrong attitude I know!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I am starting too with a gradual cut back and increase in activity. Can't bare waste but some chocolate has been bins and the birds will benefit from some calories I really don't need - nearly 500 in 2 ordinary mince pies:(
Good luck with the IVF:)
Thank you, we've had a success with it previously so fingers crossed.
Wow, how much in a mince pie... I had one today.
We've almost got through all of our goodies. But I do love savoury food as much as sweet, so need to watch what I buy in. So hoping this weight loss will save me pennies too as I'll stop just popping to the shops.
I used to be quite focussed and motivated, so hoping to get that back very soon. I also need to retrain myself to cut portion sizes and to stop eating when I'm full. I always feel hungry, but I think that's cos I overeat so my stomach is used to a constant stream of food.
And I need to work out how to get my exercise inSPC 18 Target £200 /0 -
Just caught up on this thread wow its moved quickly in a couple of days.
I have been feeling rough but had so much to do I haven't really had time for much else.
I have pinched the soup recipe! I think the noodles in a jar would work fine in tupperware, the whole point is to transport them not keep them for a week like the salad in a jar. Ew to noodles left soaking for a week!
Well done to the person who has lost 22.5lbs, great work!
There's a few people worrying about the weigh in and a few looking forward to it. I would say to everyone that no one is here to judge, just support as we are all here for the same reason and in this together. If you aren't happy with your weigh in numbers then think what you can do differently next time and try that out. It's not going to be quick and we're all different which is why it's great to share tips. To anyone doing lots of exercise and not seeing results on the scales, don't forget that 1lb of fat and 1lb of muscle weigh the same so you may not have lost any "weight" but you may find you lost a cm off your waist/hips etc.
I hope that doesn't come across as patronising in any way, I just mean it as support and help. I am looking forward to the weigh in and if I have put on weight I know where I went wrong (plus the several packs of throat sweets I have eaten over the past few days!). Next week I will be getting more active and planning my meals.LBM: 15/12/14 Debt @ LBM: £21,560.51/£20,835.29 Number of creditors: 51/47DFD: 26.04.2018! Morning all - well done on your losses so far! I'm 12st on the dot today (168lbs) so-2 lbs
Really chuffed with that as I really thought I'd STS. Right, off to work!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Down to 178lb as have lost 2lb - amazed as like others here have been finishing off last of Christmas goodies. Cheese and crackers mostly, as rehomed the chocs that weren't eaten by the 2nd at DH's work, and couple of nice boxes saved to use as gifts in next few months (can resist if they're sealed and out of sight).
Well done everyone on weight loss and effort so far, and very impressed with your 22lb to date Kathrynha. Thanks for all the recipe suggestions and links too. I'm also going for small sustainable changes this time - have started diets and exercise lots of times with complete commitment, only to fall off the wagon in a few weeks once the novelty wore off. Have been for a run and a swim this week and aim to run again tomorrow - went to a new runners group the week before Xmas and it restarts tomorrow.
Good luck with IVF EverTheOptimist. Will try to post more regularly this week, restarting work after the holidays has been a bit of a shock to the system lol!#21 Save £12k in 2025 £10477.35/£20000

Well first weigh in not great. Put on 2lb but it is my first post-Christmas weigh in having only got properly back on plan on Monday, and an evening weigh in, when the one before was a morning one, so actually really happy with that. I am 1lb less than I was at the start of December.
I am totally on plan this week though and determined to get a good loss next weekZebras rock0
