IrishRose Deepest condolences on the loss of your friend. :( Sorry to hear about the family in your street and hoping that they all recover. It just proves how dangerous fire can be.

Everyone - Remember to check your smoke alarm!

MrsM 9 months is a long time! :) Fingers crossed for a safe arrival.

MrsI Enjoy the break. Hope that the caravan has heating.

Enjoy your Easter Sunday everyone. :easter_os

    Hello everyone

Sorry that I haven't been posting lately.

I'm doing the April challenge on the competitions board which means I'm trying to enter 4,000 competitions this month. Fingers crossed for some nice wins.

Hope everyone has a lovely Easter.

Wow - that is an awful lot of competitions!! Good luck. :)

CHRISSYG I didn't manage to watch the debate. I like to hear about parties policies but I get really annoyed with all the playground accusations all the time. I have no idea who to vote for, i'd really like to read a non-biased overview of each party to help me decide, I must look into it!

Well still haven't had the dog out but I think he is feeling under the weather as he has been up for a pee and when I said "walkies" he just looked at me as if to say "you go I will see you when you get back" and off he went back to bed !

Halfcost have a lot of toys for £1+ ideal for stocking fillers.

Freespirit, In my head really want to follow the political debates and I know I should because that's what a democracy is all about but somehow I just hear 'blah blah' while they're talking. I'm like you, I also like bits of policy from each party but no one manifesto really appeals to me overall and I don't believe anything any of them say really anyway.

Ha ha Princess Kitty, DH had a proper size cream egg before breakfast this morning lol

Belated birthday wishes Ameyturtle - hope you had a lovely time.

Irish Rose, so sorry to hear of the sad events in your life and you're right, it certainly does put things into perspective.

Mrs I, hope you have a great time. Still sending positive vibes to DD and DSIL.

3forholidays - how many competitions  Wow, you must be very determined. Hope at least one of them turns up trumps for you after all that effort. I only really entered the Dickinsons Real Deal one and I've stopped doing that now there isn't free online entry anymore.

Hope everyone is enjoying the Easter break - I did hot cross buns this morning (meaning I buttered some that I bought yesterday I didn't bake them lol) then had to pick all the peel out of mine because I don't like it ha ha.
It's the most wonderful timeof the year :

Evening everyone, hope you have all had a lovely day, we have had a lovely family day, poor little man has his first cough and cold bless him he looked so poorly, we had a beautiful roast lamb with all the trimmings lunch, with apple crumble and chocolate cake for dessert, then all we wanted to do was nod off for half an hour, after DD2 and OH and little man went home we watched Pompeii which finished just in time for Vera, so i have had a very lazy evening :D

IRISHROSE my deepest condolences to you and your family, and the awful news about the young family, i am praying for them, i hope you manage to have a special day with the family today. It is a shame it takes times like these to realise how precious life is and to not worry about the small things

  • Happy easter to all.

Hope youve had a lovely weekend. We are having a rather lovely ones here. Just good family time together.

Booked my brother and sisters bday pressies this evening. Brother is 21 and sister will be 29. We are taking my brother to watch the dreamboys. (He's the most excited out of us lol..also the only one who is single teehee) my dh commented that i would get thrown out for making the stars self concious Lol. Its not something myself or my sister would go to but my brother is still finding life rather tough after our rocky start to the year so its given him a lil smile to look foward too.

have ordered a few more xmas pressies but cant remember what oops lol.

Gardening tomorrow if the weather is ok blah.

    Happy Easter everyone.
Been a lurker lately sorry, did write a long post last week but then iPad battery ran out as I finished so it didn't save lol.
Anyway, thankfully it's the school hols. I am absolutely shattered. Mad busy term. Got some reports etc to do over the two weeks but nonetheless its a breather isn't it ;)
As well as being busy at work we've been busy at home. Our house is Sold STC again (first buyer was one delay after another). Been surveyed this week (all ok) and then the buyers wanted to see it again. (Which means tidying the whole, toy-filled house :rotfl:) Anyway, will be booking survey on the one we are buying as soon as the bank holiday weekend over.
Nice day out for Easter festivities with friends at our favourite garden centre and adjacent pub (for lunch) Saturday. Children had to find Easter pics amongst the outdoor plants and answer simple questions about the pics. Kids all loved it. There was a bunny rabbit to hold and stroke, my littlest was thrilled, huge smile bless him. And DS1 was made up with his batman face paint :D.
Today, few visits from family with eggs for kiddies, lots of chocolate consumed by all and mum made us the most delicious roast lamb dinner :)
Tomorrow, more quality time with friends and boys if my little darling (DS2) is ok, he has a nasty temperature today, poor love.
Also booked A Day out with Thomas earlier for two weeks today. (At Llangollen railway) and have play dates etc set up for this week. So making up for the past couple of months, been too busy or too tired lately to do much.
Pressie wise, got quite a few birthdays in coming up in May and I'm uninspired. DS1 says he wants a DS but I'm reluctant, he will only be 4. Anyway we'll see ;)
Best wishes to you all x
