i am already sick and tired of the election, everywhere i turn its about it
MANDCO yes the rest of it he was ok just the dunking bit :rotfl:i cant believe that guy actually asked you that??? I would have said yes they all have different dads, gawd knows what his next question would have been :rotfl::rotfl:
PRINCESSKITTY glad you have all had a lovely few days away, it makes such a difference doesnt it? Oh that will be so much better living near a set of grandparents, for all of you, and i am sure they will love it. MRSMONEYPENNY oh that did make me laugh, it makes you wonder what other people say about us all doesnt it? I must admit when i moved into my second house it was in a cul de sac and i did have nick names for some of the people who lived there (nothing nasty mind) im sure someone had one for us :rotfl:

I was talking to an elderly lady on the bus years ago who it turned out knew my mum in law, she asked where I lived and when I told her she said "oh you must live near that young Irish catholic girl with the brood of kids, my friends told me about her" turns out that was me, I hadn't realsied that because me and hubby had chosen to have five children it was assumed I must be Catholic, really not sure where the Irish bit came from as I'm Lincolnshire born I don't see what business it is of anyone else's how many children me and my husband had, he works hard and I look after them so it annoyed me to think we were the subject of gossip. But the way I see it is if someone's talking about me they are giving someone else a break.
No offence to anyone Irish or Catholic is meant at all by this post.
I'm Irish and Catholic and not offended in the slightest:rotfl:
I can't talk, I'm following the good old Irish Catholic tradition of the brood :rotfl::o Not as common as many would believe or like now-a-days though lol.
We've finished for Easter now, I've been on the countdown to Holy Thursday for the last 3 weeks now as I'm in a long need of a sick-free break:rotfl:
Had to nip into town this afternoon after I picked eldest 2 from school at 12pm. Easter clothes are now in and they got to pick their Easter Eggs.
Easter baskets will be finished tomorrow and hidden for the Easter bunny to leave on Sunday.
While in town I allowed them both to look through the Argos catalogue and pick 2 toys each from the 2 for £15 rang. They were warned these toys had to keep them occupied all over Easter and they were not getting anything else. I have to say they chose well:T
While I let them do that I went and picked up what I really went in for. A few toys to put away for DD's birthday and the rest for Christmas.
She's Moxie Girl in the brain so was able to get a few things on sale :T
The girl on the counter told me there was quite a few dolls etc on sale ATM so I've came home and reserved a few other things for her including this http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/9080667.htm which she's had her eye on from Christmas. WIll nip in tomorrow and pick them up when they are out.Pay all debt off by Christmas 2025 £815.45/£3,000£1 a day challenge 2025 - £180/£730 Declutter a bag a week in 2025 11/52Lose 25lb - 10/25lbs Read 1 book per week - 5/52Pay off credit card debt 18%/100%0 -

What did everyone think about the debate last night ? No one really got the upper hand but I do think Wales should get as much as Scotland .This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

I didn't watch itPolitics makes my head hurt to be honest and I just don't 'get' it. I do agree though that Wales and Scotland should be treated the same.
Have done very little for Christmas recently. Been much too busy at work and my studying starts again shortly so not really any spare time. Might go into town at some point whilst I'm off for Easter to see if anything catches my eye but at the moment I'm just looking at my spreadsheet every so often but not really adding to it!0 -

Well currently Scotland get more than anybody. If Wales gets the same as Scotland, then England and Ireland both get less to make up for that. I think it should be even and everybody gets the same.Smiles are as perfect a gift as hugs...

Evening everyone, i had to pop out for the bits missing from the online shopping today for the weekend, it was packed everywhere, got some lovely easter bags from HB for only 69p and then Morries for the food bits, blimey i am so glad i got my eggs weeks ago and on offer, i thought i would wander up the easter aisle and they had hardly any easter eggs, none on offer! and just bars of chocolate!!!
CHRISSY i actually enjoyed it and learnt a few things, i didnt realise Wales was in such a bad way, and loved that the Plaid Cymru lady kept having a go at Ed Miliband. Im still not sure, i would like to know if UKIP really are racist as everyone says, Labour still wont say what cuts there will be, and Conservatives, i am still mad about the bedroom tax (not that it affects me) but i have seen elderly and disabled people have to move because of it and it makes my blood boil!!! i really am not a political person, a staunch supporter of any party, but there are bits i like from each party  and of course bits i really dont believe in!

freespirit66 - I went to do my normal shopping at T's last night and you wouldn't even know it was Easter this weekend. They've already taken out the Easter aisle and replaced it with the summer/gardening stuff and not a single chocolate egg in sight. This isn't a small T either but at least it saved me from buying more
I did actually get something for Christmas though - T have the 400ml lynx shower gels on BOGOF currently (£3 for 2) so picked up a couple for my OH stocking and a couple for my BIL as it's the cheapest I've seen them get.0 -
Well, thoroughly enjoying the time off, my place looks like a bomb has hit, but getting rid of so much carp, it is so therapeutic. Went to recycling site for first time ever, usually use free cycle but don't want to wait for no shows or waste my free time. Timed it very well as there was a queue when I left.
Bought a couple of bits for nephew on Next sale, so that is his birthday & Christmas sorted. I love the way we females can multitask, got to take some stuff the Egyptians ordered back, planned to go on Tuesday, which just happens to be the day Next have said my order will be in, so will only have to queue once
Watched half of the election debate, felt there were too many leaders for the length of the programme. Mr F is so divisive, loved the way the Welsh leader reacted to his statement on HIV. Would love to have a breakdown of foreigners, indigenous people claiming benefits, ie those who are too lazy to get off their butts to work, not those who would love to work but through no fault of their own are unable to, I imagine they would be interesting reading. I'm slightly confused as to how both con & lab say immigrants can't claim benefits for a minimum period of time. What happens those who have worked & contributed from day of arrival and through no fault of their own lose their job say 6 months short of minimum term? Are they then told, thanks very much for all of that money you gave us, off you go now as we are not going to help you?
Anyone watch Eurovision last night, was a lovely trip down memory lane?A smile costs little but creates much0
