Didn't know anything about it this year. I have done it previous years if I've seen it mentioned.
Was out last night anyway and leave a lamp on so the house isn't in darkness.

I did it without realising Freespirit - we were at an 80th birthday party last night and the dog was staying with our dog-sitter so we had no lights on at home at all :D

It's so quiet on here lately - we seem to have been on page 41 for ages lol.
It's the most wonderful timeof the year :

Good afternoon, school is out, so DGS is here enjoying a duvet day --(or is he just being an idle little twerp? answers please on £20 notes.
He has grown too big for all his jeans /trackies so that may have something to do with it. We shall have to go shopping for him soon.
l cooked some gammon in the slow cooker along with fridge bottom ingredients, so , lovely soup and enough meat for yesterday today and tomorrow, some to DDs and a bit in the freezer, for another day,
Took easter eggs and t shirts to DB and DSILs for their grandnibs .
    off shopping now.xx

I had forgotten all about earth hour this year, I hadn't noticed it mentioned anywhere. I do try not to have more lights than necessary on and if DH is watching to he tends to turn the lights off unless I'm knitting stitching or reading - he forgets sometimes and still does it so I end up risking and carrying on in the dark then giving up and putting them back on then he realises and says sorry. LOL men they can't multitask can they, I can't just watch to I have to be doing something with my Hands as well

I've not read back yet as haven't had time. Just sending a quick hello and hugs round.

Massive thank you for feedback on the bridesmaid dresses, I have stuck with the BHS knee length one and they all look lovely in them :D

Seriously need to get back on here as I am missing my fill of Christmas cheer and general chat.

    Back soon :)

    Morning all
    Hope everyone is well
I did sort a pile of pressie stash out of our room yesterday, it's got in the right room now but only as far as I front of the stash cupboard, I need to tidy through that and sort it properly.
Need to get a vegan Easter egg today while I'm out.
Got some Easter cards and an engagement card to post as well so much get those written then I can do both jobs at the same time- it's lashing it down here so I'm not going to want to go out twice!

Hope everyone is as well as they can be.
