Went to the hospital last night, he is quite the most adorable baby since my own were born (I've definately turned into a gran haven't i! )
All the little newborn stuff they had in the hospital bag was too small so he's already gone up to 0-3month size he is so contented he was just looking round taking everything in. Should be going home today.
I need to get the dress I'm knitting for a friends expected niece finished so I get break out the blue wool.
Hope everyone is well,SPC~12 ot 124

Morning all!
Congrats Mrs M, bit of a bruiser delivered there, just hope that he doesn't continue to be big for his age!
This weather is wonderful, hope it lasts.
Got a couple of bits on M&S site last night, £11 for a jacket, reduced from £32 & £7 for jim jams, reduced from £18, so that's another Christmas & birthday sorted. Just had a look at my spreadsheet on cost versus expenditure, £270 v £85, happy with that :j
Got an EMG on Wednesday morning, hospital phoned me yesterday to confirm and also check if I have been an Ebola area in last 21 days! While I applaud those who have taken the decision to volunteer out there, I'm not qualified to do so:eek:A smile costs little but creates much0 -

I think he will. Me and DH are average heights I'm 5"7"
And all our kids are taller than me, the boys are 15 and 20 they are 5'10" and 6'5" so we seem to have acquired the tall gene somehow!SPC~12 ot 124

DS1 wants a nintendo DS for his birthday. I am clueless. Would like to buy one second hand, but worried it may not work properly. Worried that if I buy a new one, he might break it. mrs-moneypenny Congratulation! :j
I started writing a long reply last weekend but accidentally deleted it twice, I had read back and replied to people and all sorts... but I'm not doing it again so hugs to all that need them, and those that don't :P
I am going to warn now I am most of the way down a large glass of baileys... I usually mix mine with milk but my dad poured it so neat it is...
My grans funeral went well, I made it through my speech thingy, the church was very full which was rather scary, but it went smoothly, lots of people have said how nice it was and how well we did so that's nice.
New avon round is going well, have kept her customers and managed to gain a few extras already and I've only done a tiny amount so far. Etsy has also been going really well, I discovered facebook networking and well that must be doing ok I've sent 2 items to America already this month
! and a couple in the UK I actually had 2 sales in 1 day which is like a miracle! 1 every few months is usually cause for celebration
Now I know I've said it in here before that I've met a thing of the male variety... well... I have... again... actually we met a while ago now, but it's good and he's nice
Our chickens are awesome little creatures were getting daily eggs... I don't know if any of you saw Britain's got talent tonight... well I want a chicken agility course!! I've seen them in a pet shop! lol.
I don't know what else I need to say... haha
xI hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.
even when it feels like your not....0 -
Good morning from a post-holiday Mrsl . Thank you everyone for your good wishes to me and my family, you will never know just how much they mean.
The holiday was great, just what l needed, DGS was a pleasure to be with, and his dad and other grandma and l had a lovely time. We went to the outlet centre in York, the aircraft museum, (yawn, but Grandma sisters went to the NAAFI for coffee and cake, yumm) Eden Camp, Scarborough and Bridlington. The lavender farm we will visit in Summer, we didn't really have time.
Mrs M that is some armful of grandson you have there! congratulations to all concerned.
Pixtots, so glad you got through the funeral and that it went as well as these events allow.
Hoping for a Skype this morning from the China crowd, then into the greenhouse for the rest of the day. Hugs to everyone and hot cross buns all round.0
