ChrissyG I am hyperventilating at the pic. I'd looooooooove one, too.
Although l agree that it would be nice to have something frivolous, maybe alittle something frilly and femmy !
Heads up on the Wilco sale, it went to 75% this morning. I got stuff for the men, and gift tags, and a lovely stags head thermometer for the greenhouse. (the greenhouse will love it!)
Now l will stop looking for bargains as almost all the grown ups are sorted.0 -
Love the Vegtrug looks fab!
I'm so excited, I am finally doing something for me. Going back to Roller Derby! My OH thinks Im too old and mums don't so that sort of thing :-(. It will be hard as its on the same night as daughters dancing and Sunday's when DD often has dance comps. But not every week.
I want to do it to get fit, have fun and meet folk. I love skating and not shy to getting shoved aroundbought some 2nd hand skates today :j

I've also made them a papercut but think its more for his wife really lol even though its a wedding one. Shall have to hunt out a cheapy pressie. Don't usually get him anything but he's going to be down on his actual bday so would look a bit odd if i didn't lol.

Really love the vegtrug Chrissy G.
I think it is a personal thing. For me I'd rather have a practical gift like the vegtrug that will be used frequently, than a frivolous something that it likely to get used once or twice and live its life in the back of a cupboard ... unless it is a nice piece of jewellery
So if the vegtrug is what floats your boat, then I think that is what you should ask for. And given the cost, it is probably not something you would buy for yourself, or get given as a gift on any other occasion.Smiles are as perfect a gift as hugs...
..one size fits all... and nobody minds if you give it back.☆.。.:*・° Housework is so much easier without the clutter ☆.。.:*・°SPC No. 5180 -

Hope everyone is keeping safe with the wild weather that we are getting at the moment.A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

Hello! My mum has been staying the last few days so I haven't really had a chance to post.
msgigglewick i'm very sorry to hear the passing of you dad and that you never had a reconciliation. I don't know the details and don't like to presume, but I suppose it is good to know that he did love you. My relationship with my dad hangs by a thread sometimes and I worry that I may feel bad not making more effort before he eventually passes, but it's very difficult to do emotionally most of the time.
CHRISSY love that veg trug! I'd love something like that as our soil is full of stones.
newthrift love the colour scheme you're thinking of! We had dusky pinks and soft greys. Ooooh so exciting!!
I have made another recipe as part of my new years resolution from my Nigella Bites cook book - some Welsh rarebit muffins. Unfortunately I don't think they turned out as they should and the mixture made quite a few! Luckily I think DH is making his way through them!
Well it's Christmas again for me today! Normally over Christmas we get together with DH's parents, two brothers and their families, however everyone was ill at some point over Christmas so it didn't happen. DH's mum is making a Christmas dinner today so we're going up there to stay for the night. There won't be any presents or decorations but a good feast! :j
Hope you all have a great weekend. x0
