I have bought from them a couple of times. Although a bit on the expensive time, can't fault quality or service.
The suppliers are traders in their own right but use the notonthehighstreet umbrella.A smile costs little but creates much0 -
If your ordering on direct with tesco and clithing online i believe, you just add your vouchers at checkout and it doubles them up, if your buying instore take your vouchers to customer services and ask to double them up on whichever department you want x0

Thanks for the heads up moneypenny, I'll have to try and have a look for these.
mj132 - I have ordered from notonthehighstreet a few times and have always been really pleased with everything I've bought. It can be expensive, especially when you're buying from various different sellers because you end up paying postage for each item, but the things I've received have been lovely. I only ever had one small issue once when I bought something and when it arrived it was in the wrong colour frame, but I messaged the seller and they sent me money to be able to post the item back to them so that they could change the frame, then when it arrived back to me in the new frame they also included a small free gift to apologise for the mix up. I think because they are individual sellers they do work harder to get things perfect and I'm pretty sure if they have too many complaints raised against them, the people who run the website will kick them off.
I was very pleased with Boots twice today. Firstly, an order of mine arrived yesterday but some of the items were damaged. I put the damaged items back in the box and emailed Boots to ask what I need to do now with the damaged items and getting replacements. I received an email off them today just apologising and telling me that they have arranged for replacement items to be sent, and I've just had a message this afternoon saying the items have been dispatched!! They haven't even asked for the damaged items back, so I think I'll keep them aside for now and if they don't ask for them to be returned I will donate the toiletries to one of the homeless shoebox collections in my area and I'll donate the other stuff to the raffle that my daughters Beavers group is doing. It's only really the packaging that are damaged on most of the stuff and there is a scratch on the drinks bottle that I'd ordered, because one of the bottles of sparkling wine from one of the gift sets had smashed and poured out over some of the stuff, so even though the packaging is damaged, the stuff inside should be ok.
And the second thing I was pleased with is, I went in to a Boots store on my lunch break and picked up the perfume set that my daughter wants and a set for my OH too. It's 10% off fragrances at the moment so I got 10% off them anyway but then when the man serving me put my advantage card through he said I had offers loaded to my card that gave me another 10% off!! So in total the sets should have come to around £76 but I got them for just over £60, plus another offer I had loaded to the card was for an extra 150 points if I spent over £35 :j
Anyway, I thought I'd come on here & tell everybody because I know we've all had some rubbish experiences with some Christmas orders lately, so thought it would be nice to hear some of the good reports too
Peppa - I hope all goes ok with your OH. I know what you mean about the ipad versus the laptop, lately the only time I get my laptop out is when I am doing my course assignments. The rest of the time I'm on my ipad or I'll pop on here with my computer when I'm in work.
Well I hope everybody has a good day and gets something Christmassy done. I'll be back to catch up later.0 -

Thanks for the replies folks - I agree that the advent calendar should be on sale by now. My local store is very, very small but I'm fortunate to be going to London tomorrow so I'll brave Oxford Street - If ther're not there then they won't be anywhere!
mj132 I've used Not on the High Street and would recommend them. Good quality but nice things that you can't find anywhere else.Penny: I'm a little low on cash.
Leonard: How much you got?
Penny: Nothing!
Leonard: How can you walk around with no money?
Penny: I'm cute, I get by.0 -

Just got back from Dobbies. The christmas section was brilliant! They did all sorts of christmas beers, chocolates, sweets and even some Dobbies brand hampers. I got myself a couple of hot chocolate stirring stick things (Found them when I stopped looking of course!
) and a box of Beech's chocolate orange creams as my essay result reward.
Oooh it was 20% off for club members today too so we got money off everything. And for some reason a free bag of bird seed. :rotfl:
Hope everyone is well. xx“In 900 years of time and space, I’ve never met anyone who wasn’t important”

Re not on the high street, my Dh ordered me a necklace through them, it didn't turn up and he had to keep chasing it, three times he was told it had been sent but then it was out of stock so they couldn't deliver it. He finally got the money refunded and found the same or a very similar item on Amazon for half the price.SPC~12 ot 124
