I'm hoping someone will be able to help.
I've been wanting to treat myself to a beauty advent calendar this year.
Having held on to an article from August(!), I started looking a couple of weeks ago, only to find the reasonably-priced (and not so reasonable priced) ones sold out
I've got loads of nail varnishes, so the current Ciante offer in the weekly e-mail is not what I'm after. I'm not a Boots No. 7 fan either.
I've set my heart on the M&S one but I can't find it on the website - it just says 'coming soon'
http://www.marksandspencer.com/s/beauty/beauty-advent-calendar
Surely by this time of year it should be on sale? Does anyone know if you have to go into a store to get one?
Thanks!!
S-JPenny: I'm a little low on cash.
Leonard: How much you got?
Penny: Nothing!
Leonard: How can you walk around with no money?
Penny: I'm cute, I get by.0 -

Hi all, Well what a day!
Princesskitty29-They do look fantastic, cannot wait to test them out on the big day x
Mrs-moneypenny-they sound fantastic. What is the elfilicious board? Would like to see your stockings x
Quidsy-sorry to hear about argos, unfortunately companies do not seemed to be bothered with good customer service nowadays. Have had a few days of bad service from companies , have complained and they are not interested. Asda and sky!!!
linz4383- I placed an order with tesco direct last night for 2 half price toiletry sets, will see how long it takes to arrive.
Sensible_Jess- I think treating yourself is a great idea, I am guessing but would say surely they must have some of the M&S ones in store or they will be coming online soon as its nearly advent time. It does sound lovely x
Freespirit66- YUK!! I hate hate hate oven cleaning. Its made worse by the fact that my brother used to be an oven cleaner for the likes of asda, tesco etc. He used to clean the big industrial ovens so has all the stuff to clean my oven so well that it looks like a brand new cooker. It takes him 1 hour to make it look like brand new. I spend a full day soaking, scrubbing and spraying the oven and it looks exactly the same as before I cleaned it!! He refuses to do it more than once a year for me so its usually just before christmas.
Have had 2 days of complaining about horrendous custoer service. Asda have now gone so far down in my estimations I refuse to buy online orders from them anymore. Being sent a text message at 6am on a sunday morning to remind me to pick a parcel up that I had already collected is just an example of a catalogue of errors from them. Complaining did not get me anywhere, they are not interested.
Have just spent over 3 hours on the phone to sky to try and upgrade my mums tv package for her. I am now feeling like I need to go and lay down in a dark room lol
Nothing on the christmas front today as went to watch dd in her school assembley. She was dreading it but was amazing x0 -

I thought there was a link for the elfilicious pin board on here but I can't find it. I think the link I've done should take you to my photo then the Christmas board.
Sorry the photo is a bit dark also I had to be careful how I did it as the tags have the child's names on so I had to hide them or turn the front visible ones over.
The pattern I used was a Martha Stewart one off pintrest, it's really easy just cut out two stocking shapes, I put the ribbon band around the top edge by laying the boots next to each other with the fronts facing, I leave about 1cm hangover at both back edges then fold onto each other with ribbon on the outside tucking the ends in and sew all around leaving the top open. I cut a little snip just below the ribbon and put the tag on a 6in length of hanging loop through that then knot it.
Just been in Sains local and they were putting thechristmas stock out they had a box of four whiskey miniatures Jim beam, famous grouse, another grouse and the fourth I can't remember teachers I think. It was £7 for the pack, can't remember who was after minatutes but thought I'd mention it.SPC~12 ot 124

It's been a while since I've been able to spoil my family and close friends, so I'm really excited about that :-)0

Just got my first assignment mark of the year. 81 (out of 100)! Nice surprise cause I thought it was awful. It's kind of spurred me on to try my best for a distinction next time! :j Off to Dobbies tomorrow hopefully so I think I'll look for something to reward myself with.
Pixie Fairydust - That stocking is adorable!
Hope everyone having problems with retailers get the right results!“In 900 years of time and space, I’ve never met anyone who wasn’t important”
