Lazysheep - Thanks so much for the miniatures link, I had no idea that site existed!
It's been a long week already and it's only Tuesday! I'm off to Bristol for my friend's birthday at the weekend - I've never been before but I've heard good things.
Is anyone else having issues with deliveries? Ordered a Nintendo 2DS for my boyfriend with Tesco Direct, and it was meant to be available to collect instore last Wednesday. I keep getting texts and emails from them apologising because it keeps being delayed, and the website has a banner up saying there are delays in general. The woman in the post office today also said that people are having a nightmare with Amazon parcels not arriving, so watch out for that if you're ordering anything!0 -
Just seen the aldi Christmas ad, really liked it, it's fun and Christmassy
Made all the little felt stockings for my class today, I'm pleased with how they've turned out. Going to have a go at crocheting snowflakes tonight while we watch a DVD, Dh has just nipped out to take ds1 to an open mic night.SPC~12 ot 124

Hi all, thank you so much for your kind words, I have been feeling a bit better the last couple of days and i'm trying to keep busy - which isn't hard with a toddler in tow!
04624181 those matchbox toys and games sound like a great idea. We had wind up penguins in Christmas crackers once and it was greeat fun racing them after lunch!
andie ooh I hope you have a great time as Centre Parcs too and enjoy the winter wonderland.
lazysheep thanks yes I ordered from Just Miniatures a few days ago, after moaning to you guys I had a look online and found them. I got an email saying shipped about five minutes after ordering them! It has cost me double the price of my local shop but at least i've got them coming now and they should be in date!
MoneyMission how frustrating about the decorators! I hope you can find somebody else. I always have this frustration with trades people, we've had a double booking before and they always book jobs really close together. I understand why as they're quite often self-employed but we've often had people rushing jobs as they have another one to get to.
Money maker the scratchcard stats do sound interesting, I didn't know you could see that. I've got all my scratchcards now so will jusy have to hope i've got good ones!
Pixie Fairydust ah you've got some lovely things from the Card Factory.
For the first time ever I did Tesco Clubcard boost and got myself some Christmas pj's and Wiggle a Christmas jumper. I don't have any plans today so I might pop to town as i've got some Christmas shoeboxes to drop off and forgot to do it at the weekend.0 -
Morning all
Hoe everyone is well
Loving reading everyone's Christmas plans
I must get my shoe boxes packed up and taken in. Thanks for the mention about those.
I've added a photo of the stockings I made to the elfilicious pin board, hope you don't mind. They were made using the Martha Stewart pattern I found on pintrest a few years ago. Really easy to do and don't take long at all.
I might make some more today and I found a pattern for crocheted snowflakes last night so did a couple of them for the tree at school just to try them out. Might add a few just cottonwool ball ones as well if I don't get enough made by decoration day.
Centres arcs sounds fabulous hope he ones going/been there have/had a fantastic time. It's years since we've been.
Have a great day all.SPC~12 ot 124
