JJ I've got a bus pass due to disability but as I live in Scotland the criteria is set by the Scottish Government and applications are dealt with by the local council. I have to attend a drop in session held locally to present documentation to prove eligibility and get photograph taken. The bus pass is sent to me in the post a week or so later. As my bus pass is given to me on disability grounds it has an expiry date on it and I need to attend the drop in session about 3 weeks before the expiry date of my current pass to ensure that I have my new pass before the old one runs out. Elderly people just get their bus pass automatically renewed. The process might be different in your area.A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.
