    Just a quickie from me.

I have been using my new skincare products and drinking more water and my skin had improved drastically. I feel so much better now and I hope it stays that way.

    Hi all

Forgot to put my perfume on today so just done it now - better late than never!

Wore out another pair of jeans last night leaving me with one pair so thought I'd best buy some more. No joy in New Look, Peacocks, Dorothy Perkins or Matalan. Ending up paying £45 for the ones in Next I've had before but I didn't have to adjust myself into them, they fit a treat and are so comfortable. Worth it I guess, but was frustrating struggling to find bootcut jeans!

It's so hard to get jeans you really like. I bought a pair like this

in M&S but mine are black and have the sparkly bits on the back pockets too (last season bought in the sale for half the price:j). I prefer straight cut to bootleg but these are close to skinny or maybe I just have fatter legs than I thought!:rotfl:

Not much fabbing done today but planning on some in the morning. DH will be out so I've got a couple of hours to myself for a face pack etc.

    Have a good week all.

    Good morning ladies

Well I'm back in the land of the living, I think......

That was a tough few days, but hopefully the worst is over. I couldn't even comb my hair my head hurt so much.:rotfl:

Anyway all appts for this week are cancelled, I'm just going to go at my own pace. There's food in the cupboards and freezer although I will attempt to walk to the corner shop for some milk and a few bits.

    Hope all goes well Sweetcheeks.

no real news or gossip but at least I'm feeling half human again.

Get well soon to all you poorly ones.

Good to have you back and more like your old self LL.

As I promised myself I've done some fabbing this morning. So usual shower, body lotion and blow dry plus I creamed my feet and did a mini face pack. I'm calling it mini as I'm confining it to chin and nose as too harsh for other parts of my face. I've just pulled on some sort of leisure pyjamas (tartan trousers and matching t shirt) as I'll get dressed up in a skirt for dance class later.

I'm going to have some lunch and then hit some more Kondoing/tidying up. What's really pleasing me is that I'm keeping things tidy.:D

    Afternoon All

Glad to hear you are back on the path to normality again LL. It really makes you appreciate how important good health is when you are ill, doesn't it. I am still getting really tired still - I had over 12 hours sleep the other day.

I am sitting here in dressing gown with wet hair at the moment as I had a late bath after my run this morning so I need to go and sort out my hair and feet in a moment. My legs feel tired and heavy but as I ran 10k this morning it's not really surprising! I've got work early today - have to be there at 4 so I shall dress accordingly.

I like the jeans Maman. I picked up a bargain in a charity shop a while ago as they had a variety of Per Una jeans in petite sizes for £4.99 each brand new. I don't know if they were end of range or something. I bought 5 pairs - 3 in size 10 and 2 in size 8 in different colours - so they should keep me going for quite a while.

DH and I went to see The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel last night and enjoyed it - though agree it's not as good as the first one. Later this week I am going to see La Traviata, which is being streamed live from London. I'm going with my Mother and a couple of friends as DH doesn't fancy it. I shall have to miss out on my Circuits and Aerobics classes as they clash but will still have a run in the morning to keep me active. I've also got to miss Yoga on Friday as DS and I have meetings with Planning Officers and Tree Officers re some proposed developments which might involve us at work. I did fit in a swim yesterday for half an hour - I got DH to drop me off whilst he took my Mother to the supermarket.

    Have a good week everyone,

  • Have started to sort my Mum And Dads bungalow. Have'nt felt up to it till now though Mum died last July. Still a bit emotional about clearing it but have to do it as they are asking for council tax and I've only just got all the forms back from the solicitor. Very stressful.

    Hi All
Not much tabbing done - still in overalls, mask, gloves & hat. Have made sure of plenty of moisturiser and perfume though ;) Will smarten up on Wednesday as I have a committee meeting and on Friday DH is taking me out to a local jazz club so looking forward to that.
Very new money saved - take it easy on yourself. I and many of us know how hard this is for you. Make sure that you have some cartons to put anything in that you feel you would like to keep. I have kept some of my mums things in my loft for over 10 years because I could not make the decision at the time. They have slowly been repurposed, given to family members or let go when I felt I could do it & I'm glad I waited - hugs to you
Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle
