Morning All
Well,I'd fallen off the wagon with the 5:2 for the last few weeks - just couldn't motivate myself & put on a couple of pounds but did do a fast yesterday & I'm back to 151.1lb - pleased with that so I'm going to knuckle down to keep on it to loose the last few pounds.
Durham Mim If you've got a few weeks you can lose 1-2lb a week on the 5:2 It suits me 'cos I can't stand counting calories or any faffing but obviously the best diets are the ones you can stick at!
No fabbing today - hair still feels good so I think I'll try to do an intensive moisturise every week. Just perfume & facial moisturiser today as the weather is good so out come the scrapers!
Have a good Fabby Friday everyoneSmall victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0 -
Thanks for the advice. Graduation isn't until July 15th so quite a bit of time. I'm just worried the weight won't come off. I lose weight v. slowly. I've only lost 2-3lb since Christmas. It does give me something to focus on and more determination. I'm doing a cross between SW and calorie counting as my OH is following SW and its easier for meal times. It does seem to work, but I'm very inactive due to ME. Just hope the shop has the dress in so I can try a 16 to put my mind at rest.
Postman has delivered a lovely big bottle of French perfume! Lovely surprise. It's from a company I do surveys for. I'd just finished a bottle of perfume last weekend so a timely replacement with a much nicer perfume.Weight loss 0/2st

Durham-min, I tend to go for a size up in Phase Eight as their dresses are quite close fitting & show the lumpy bits...I would consider trying the other size to ease your mind, and it may be more comfy & you may be less aware of any "cosiness" so will enjoy your day more.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Even at the rate since Christmas (which could improve when the weather's better and salads are more palatable) you could lose half a stone by July which would take the 'snugness' away. I think if I were you I'd check the returns policy and maybe have both in readiness.;)
sava, it sounds like you and I aim for much the same weight (just done some mental maths with the pounds:D). My preferred weight is 10st 7 or slightly below. That may sound heavy to some but at 5ft 9, any lower and I worry about scragginess.
Doing casual again today. I'm wearing jeans, long sleeved fawn top and White Stuff Aran waistcoat. DH commented 'nice cardi'. That's one of the bonuses of Kondo, I'm finding things I'd forgotten I had and the 'see at a glance' sort of storage means I won't forget about them either. I'll get made up later for weekly trip to Aldi:D and also put on heeled ankle boots as it really improves my posture.
Sunny and bright here too. What a difference in two days!0 -
Maman - spot on! I'm aiming for 10st7lb too -I'm 5'10" so like you I look scrawny if any slimmer. I'm finding it a real struggle to lose the last few pounds though. I'll be better when the weather perks up & more salads.Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0

Good Evening All,
Usual fabbing for me today with loads of extra moisteurer applied around my nose area every time i have to wipe it. DH eventually passed his head cold onto me.
regards:j0 -
Tooties - try lip salve smeared round your nose before you go to bed. It works a treat & I only found out by accident 'cos I couldn't find my cream when we were on holiday!Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0

Hello everyone!
I second the use of lip balm/ Vaseline round your nose when you have a cold!
I'm feeling really unmotivated atm, nothing's getting done and I'm not shifting any weight. I think I've taken on too many things, and none of them are getting my full attention. I feel down about everything, then I eat more, then I feel worse about my weight!
Anyway - I think I'll have some satsumas (and resist the junk food I feel like eating!) and make a plan for the next week for what needs doing and any prep I can do. I've got an OU assignment due on Wed but I'm quite behind on the course so am stressing about that, but that needs to be my priority for the next few days.
Hope everyone has a good weekend0 -

That has to be the way forward beluga. You'll only be more cross with yourself if the weekend goes by and you're no further forward. I always feel better when I've achieved something. I can handle a little bit of time wasting then it gets to me. I suppose it's the need to control my life.
On the weightloss front, I'm a great believer in meal planning. I've always done it. I started for time management reasons so that I didn't just wander aimlessly around the supermarket. More recently it's been mse:money:because I hate being ripped off and patronised by their marketing tricks but most importantly if I plan (and shop for) healthy meals then it keeps my weight where I want it. If I'm going to have a treat like a cake or crisps I'll have it when I'm out so then I don't have the rest of the pack tempting me at home.
In the middle of a fabbing session here. I've had my shower/hair wash now waiting for face pack to work then blow dry my hair. This week I've just put it on nose and chin area as the rest of my face finds it a bit drying.
Weather's a bit grey here so going to do some batch cooking today as freezer short of HM ready meals.0 -
Hello ladies.
Well I'm all fabbed up, wearing a nice new top - just a cheapie from ASDA but in a nice shade of jade green, so a bit of colour on such a grey day.
DS2 is working this weekend, DS1 just popped in for a quick sandwich and catch up. Im feeling a bit tired, didn't sleep to well, so I am currentLy in the middle of sortimg out boxes of old photos. We must have hundreds, if not thousands so this first cull is just getting rid of the duplicates, the blurred and faded ones, the ones with missing heads and of course the unflattering ones of yours truly. I wish I was photogenic:rotfl: but alas Im not. My sister on the other hand looks ravishing on film. Hey ho.
Not much news this end, just quietly plodding along. It's OHs birthday on Monday so I will need to plan something nice to take my mind off things a bit. Might go the pictures if I feel up to it.
Have a fab weekend.......0
