I watched Dexter last year. Enjoyed the first couple of series, after when it seemed like they were struggling to come up with scripts. I managed to watch to the end, but only just.

Much preferred Castle, and may well pick that one up on second hand DVDs for rewatching :)

    Evening Fabbers,

Usual level of fabbing here as well as a lot of kondoing of our belongings.

Going to do a hair treatment now.

    regards

I've been to a meeting this morning so Fab Friday came early: straight shift dress, opaques, heels, little cardi.

Interesting conversation with DH last night: we were watching a programme live on commercial channel so had to sit through adverts:(. One came on advertising foundation. DH commented that he didn't think women used that any more. I said that some did and he said 'But you don't do you?'. Now I know my DH was probably thinking of the days when women used to put it on with a trowel but I was pleased. So my tinted moisturiser/blusher with eye shadow, mascara, eye pencil and lipstick must look as natural as I thought!! I've cracked the 'no make up' make up:D!!:rotfl:

That's probably all the fabbing for today. Oh maybe I'll count the SC gammon and the lovely lentil soup I made from the stock. All sliced/portioned for the freezer. Healthy HM ready meals. All part of keeping my weight where I want it.

Horrid day here today, grey and wet. Hair looks a mess as a result!

Usual weekly gym session today then dashed home for a quick scrub down and out to lunch with OH, it was our 34th wedding anniversary yesterday, but we elected to go for a meal today instead. Fabbed up in Phase 8 striped jersey sweater dress, tights and scarf to match one of the colours (cyclamen) and black cardi and knee length black boots. Food was delicious, I only have a teeny appetite but managed to eat virtually all of my main course and we both decided that we couldn't manage a pudding, shame as they had my favourite creme brulee:(

Need to shake a leg and change into my walking boots and go out with Miss Border Collie while the sun is still out:)

Two people (younger) have told me today that they love my hair colours, so that made me feel good about myself:D

  • Maman outfit sounds divine and well done for finding the secret of the no make up make up look.

Maddiemay your outfit also sounds gorgeous, and happy anniversary to you both.

I fabbed today - did mani and pedi, then later went to the local womens centre for an Eden energy therapy session. Not had this before, but based on the work of Donna Eden and a bit of a cross between massage, acupressure and reiki. Came out feeling very relaxed.

Also, the Nutribullet has arrived, squeeeeeee, very excited ha ha. :j

The therapy session sounds so good. A friend is re-starting her Relexology business and has also decided to train in Aromatherapy, she is recruiting guinea pigs for a very reasonable cost to work on to attain her qualification:D

Have fun with your Nutribullet, so many good things that you can make with it. The second time I used mine I got distracted by the phone or something and didn't screw the top on tightly:o, this resulted in liquid leaking into the machine, I almost had kittens:eek: I dried everything that I could reach, then turned it upside down for a while and then got the hairdryer to it:rotfl:, I then left it overnight with a handful of those little silica gel sachets that you get in bottles of tablets etc., thank goodness it was fine:D

Debenhams dress arrived today. It fits and looks lovely but would be better if I lost a few pounds. The annoying thing is if I hadn't put on weight over Christmas it would be just right now. Am toying with the idea of going to the store on Saturday to see if they have a size 16 in, just to compare the difference. Don't really want to go back to a 16, but don't know if I dare risk it if I don't lose the weight in time, decisions, decisions

That sounds wonderful. I really must remember to book a massage ASAP.

I'm so pleased you like the dress. Sometimes a bigger size can look more flattering so it's a good idea to at least try a 16 on if you can. BUT how many weeks before you need to wear the 14?

Belated best wishes for your anniversary Maddie.
