Evening Everyone
I haven't posted for a few days as I've been really busy but have been keeping up with the fabbing.
Thank you Floss for the suggestion about an atomiser for my rogue bottle of perfume. I have some spare Boots points so could look in there for a cheap one. At the moment I am resorting to dabbing as Maman suggested, although I haven't managed to get the whole top off yet so it's a bit difficult to get any perfume out.
Sorry LL that life is still so difficult at the moment. There isn't really anything I can say to help except you sound to have had a wonderful relationship with your DH and that hopefully all the happy memories will help you through this period. I hope that the flat you are hoping comes up for sale appears soon as it sounds just right for you.
I've been madly sewing all week as I've had a few days off and managed to make and finish a patchwork quilt for my grand daughter!! No pictures yet as I am giving her room a makeover first. She is 5 on Tuesday but away for half term so I would like to get the room done before she comes again. I am covered in bits of cotton now but finished the quilt earlier this evening and even had time to recycle an old jumper into a bag.
All this sewing is helping keep me away from the nibbles. I've also got a very busy week at work with it being school holidays and DS and family being away so I am hoping for a good result at the final weigh in on Wednesday - that's if I can get there as I am due out for a birthday meal with a group of friends then.
Happy Fabbing and a Marvelous Monday everyone

Hello all. Hope you've all had a fab weekend.
Quick question - I have a couple of unopened bottles of my favourite perfume, but it's started to smell different on me. Not completely horrible, but still different and also seems more strong and over-powering. I am using the eau de parfum, which could explain the strength, but am wondering if it's worth persevering or calling in quits and selling the unopened bottles on fleebay. Any thoughts?0 -
I had this too. I think it might be linked to changes in hormones.
I sold mine on eBay, they fetched good prices too, even the opened ones. I did say in the description that the bottles had been opened.
Thanks for the kind thoughts. I'm ok. I know there will be down days still to come. I'll be fine, I'll just work my way through it.
I guess you can't rush the grieving process, it just takes time.
I'm lucky. I have lots of happy memories and my two fab boys.
G'night All. X0 -
Mrs CD The handles are made from the sleeves rolled lengthways and stitched - no stuffing or cutting - just as they came off the jumper.

Just popped in to say we had a great time at the wedding. I felt great. I just knew I was looking my best and I have my virtual friends to thank for it:A.
Did loads of dancing so that's a bit of exercise at least! Feeling more than a bit tired now so will rest up today, maybe even a little nap:o.0 -
