Silvasava, it is still in bigger Debenhams, HoF, John Lewis and Selfridges so not quite yet, but I think the smaller bottles have been discontinued as they're not good value for £s so no-one is buying them

Aaarrgghhhh to all of you mentioning Fatface (I'm looking at you Rose woo and maman). I've just had a nosey on the website and have seen a few things I like. It's not a shop I find inspiring to look in, but I have seen a few nice things. Oh dear.

    Hi all

Thanks for the tip on the scarves with my jumper, wore one today and felt comfortable although I borrowed it from mom and not sure it's really me so will have to keep an eye out.

In other news I have utterly fallen off the wagon. I didn't make it to the gym the past two mornings due to traffic (I was actually 30 mins late for work today!), I have eaten 400g of chocolate in 24 hours, a whole bag of Sensations and some Seabrook crisps. The only saving grace is that my actual meals haven't been too bad and any fizzy drinks are always diet/zero. I have done perfume but not done the rest of my fabbing.

I feel it too, especially the carb overload. I can feel the congestion in my neck and shoulders which are rock solid. It will also most likely be the sugar highs and lows that are making me feel so tired. Must work out why I'm binging and then do something about it. :o

Edit: OK booked a bodyweight training class for 7am at the gym (first time I'll have used one of the classes). Now there is an incentive to lower my bodyweight if nothing else works!
  • I've just tried my new Fat Face dress on with the right accessories (rather than over my jeans in the charity shop) and am really pleased with it. I'm going out with friends for a birthday celebration next week so will be able to wear it then. I paid a bit more than I usually do in a charity shop (£8.99) but it looks really good so I am pleased I got it.

Thanks for the suggestions about the tiredness. I think my iron levels are ok. I give blood fairly regularly so get it checked then and have always had high enough iron levels to give. I might look out for some foods that boost iodine levels in case its low thyroid hormones which is possible as it runs in the family.

I've just finished a hand made patchwork quilt that I started when I was 19 years old!! So only 37 years to make. It has been in a cupboard for years but I dug it out, finished the border and lined it over the past couple of weeks. Each hexagon in it is only 5cm long at its widest. When I began it all those years ago I could never have imagined being a grandmother when it was finally finished.

The light isn't very good so we don't really have a yellow carpet - it's a light beige.!!

WOW! rose that's beautiful! When I met my DH in 1977 I did patchwork on the train at weekends when I was travelling to meet him. I've still got the pieces but have never made it up into anything. I'm in awe of your motivation to get it finished.:o

DD, I love Seabrooks crisps. The only way I manage to stay at my target weight is to not buy them.:(

Hi all - been enjoying reading all your posts but not posting much as not really much to contribute!
I'm keeping up the skin care, including body moisturisers, and perfume, but still haven't kick started an exercise and weight loss plan :( - I'm my own worst enemy because I feel so down about my weight and lack of energy but can't find the right mind set to deal with it! Kick up the backside needed methinks!
Love that quilt rose - it looks great :)
Off to walk doggy now so will throw on something warm to do that, then come back for a shower and moisturise before tackling the ironing and doing an online shop - exciting, aren't I? :D

The quilt looks fab Rose. After seemingly endless block making I've just started constructing my current one. It's the first time I've made one larger than a single, but I'm hoping to finish it this year.

DH was away for three days so I ate all manner of junk when he wasn't here to keep an eye on me! I pulled myself together yesterday and prepared everything for last night's meal before I headed off for a walk on the beach prior to my stint at the charity shop. I confess I was a bit (a lot) stinky when I was at the shop but never mind eh? Felt good to have a decent walk rather than just rushing into town and not taking time to look around.

I'm at the shop again today where I shall be beautifully fragranced. I did some batch cooking on Monday so tonight's meal is ready to go when we get home.

    Have a good day everyone.

Good to see you posting ellsbel. I can't stress enough how much healthy eating (and the weightloss that came with it) transformed how I felt about myself but it's not the answer to everything. What you're doing today: having a walk in the fresh air, a bit of house fabbing and food shopping (healthy food alongside a meal plan?) is an achievement. Don't put yourself down. You could have been hiding under the duvet.;)

rose, I have a pile of multi coloured hexagons sewn into 'flowers' (I'm sure there's a technical term). How do I find out the next step? Is there a website you can recommend? Any tips?

All very basic here today. I may have to go to a meeting in which case I will fab myself up. Otherwise just football tonight so that'll be as many thermals as I can find but that will involve a brisk walk to the stadium and I will do my make up.:)
  • Gave myself a mani and pedi last night. Wearing OPI's Tickle my Franc-ey.

Rose Wood - that quilt is fantastic :T
