Hello everyone
I've been lurking for a few days getting the courage up to post.
I have lots of little bottles of holiday size shampoo and shower gel which I am determined to use up before I buy any more. I don't wear much in the way of makeup, but I've started wearing perfume more. I can't wear it to work - rules etc.... I've looked through my box of goodies today and I have lots of hand cream for some reasonIn the bathroom, there are umpteen bottles of bath/shower gel which will be used up as intended or as shampoo. Will keep in touch.

I've had a marvellous Monday.
Still recovering from cough & cold so working on getting my energy back up. Ordered some vitamins & supplements and some new water filter cartridges so I can up my water drinking.
Started the 5:2 eating plan today so kicked of with a fasting day. Bought a lovely new top (bargain reduced from £90 to £25). Went for 20 minute brisk walk and had a green smoothie.
Feeling quite chuffed with myself :jCrazy clothes challenge 2017 - 30/3000 -
Butterscotch - Welcome to the thread, a capsule wardrobe is such good sense. BTW good perfume will usually last all day - its just that you get used to it and can't smell it after a few hours. TBH a good one is more economical in the long run.
I've tested this and checked with others who can't smell it either! I use two and it's the same with bothI want to be one of those girls who smell lovely when you pass them in the shop lol

I'm the same. I'm told that if you layer products, such as body lotion, shower gel and perfume, all in the same fragrance, it should last longer, although I've not tried it.0 -

This does work, I used shower cream, body lotion and perfume for special occasions and my scents do last. I use CD Miss Dior, CD Dune, CD Dolce Vita and Armani She.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Hello everyone!
I'm starting a weight loss club this afternoon - rather nervous so wish me luck! It's through the NHS so it's free, and it's right on my bus route so should be easy enough to get to. I've never been to anything like this though, and the thought of being weighed in front of other people makes me want to hide under the duvet
This morning I had a nice bath, scrub, defuzz and used an intensive conditioner on my hair. Had more time than usual so spent a while playing with some new eyeliner ( a pen type) - I'm not convinced but will persevere!0 -

Good luck and well done for taking the first step. Remember if people were happy with their weight they wouldn't be there so don't worry about being weighed. Just be proud of yourself for doing it and plan a nice treat as a reward for going.Crazy clothes challenge 2017 - 30/3000 -
Afternoon Everyone,
I don't seem to have been on a few days though I have been reading. I keep getting really tired at the moment and have had to have a nap nearly every day which is most unlike me.
I had Pilates this morning and followed it by going swimming as DH had to go out and dropped me off. I did 45 minutes and then had a mooch round the charity shops whilst I waited for him to come back and collect me. I bought myself a Fat Face dress in just the style I like - V neck, wrap effect bodice and flared out skirt in a soft jersey fabric with elbow length sleeves. It's a deep purple with faded effect turquoise and pink flowers - not bright but quite subtle. It should look nice with black opaques and either boots or black shoes. As usual I shall have to wear a black camisole underneath so that the neckline isn't too revealing.
I had my usual run yesterday and a swim on Sunday so been getting plenty of exercise but am wondering whether to tweak what I'm eating a bit as I wondered if my tiredness is linked to diet. Tonight I've got smoked cod with spinach, mushrooms and mashed swede which should be nice and healthy. I went through a phase about 4 years ago of being really tired and had some thyroid tests but came through it and have been full of energy until the last few weeks. I fell asleep on the sofa again this afternoon whilst sewing.
I was annoyed to find my bottle of perfume wouldn't spray at all this morning. It's brand new and only been open a couple of days so DH is going to try to get his money back on it as it was my Christmas present from him and very expensive. I shall feel bereft if I can't put my perfume on daily as it is a totally ingrained habit and one I never forget. It will feel a bit like forgetting to clean my teeth or put my contact lenses in would.

Floss - I use CD Dolce Vita too, heard a while ago that's its being discontinued - hope not!
Rose - do you think your iron levels may be low?
Beluga - well done you I'm sure that many of the other people feel like you & I'm sure you're weight won't be broadcast to all and sundry
Gym this morning - showered changed & fabbed to do some shopping (!!) Bought 2 lots of hair colour for DGD to do my roots (I'll do her eyebrows in return) a lovely navy lacy top in Asder & a stripy t shirt reduced to £3.
Looked for a lipstick to replace an old one that I like the colour of but couldn't find anything near it. I'll try again later.

Your post rung bells with me in lots of ways. I've been really tired in the afternoons just recently. I've put it down to the fact that I've STILL:mad: not got over the cold thing I had at Christmas. Mostly it's left me with a lot of catarrh/sinus issues and this lethargy. I did go to the GP after a month and he said I didn't have any infections or anything and basically just plod on!
I bought a Fat Face jumper in the CS yesterday in a red/orange colour. Very flattering. I think they do some really nice things but, like most shops, you have to be choosy. Same with White Stuff. I'm going to have a sort out of my tops and jumpers soon. Many are from the CS and I'm bored with them now so they can return from whence they came.:)
My new black pencil skirt came from Hush (thanks;)) yesterday and I tried it on this morning. It's very slim but fits fine, a bigger size would be baggy. It's really thick and decent quality. And I treated my self to some black straight leg trousers in New Look sale for £9. They're a bit cheap and cheerful but the style is smart and I thought I should have a pair of other than jeans.
And I've had similar problems with perfume sprays but not when they're brand new. I'd definitely take it back rose. What did was get my DH to use a pliers (or something like that) to get the top off and resorted to putting the perfume on the old fashioned way of dabbing it behind my ears! That shouldn't be happening with yours.
Had a manicure and pedicure and my eyebrows done yesterday so all very groomed. Hair appointment for Saturday. I've fixed them all up this week as we're off to a wedding on Saturday so want to look my best.:) I've decided next time I'm going to have a chiropody appointment instead of a pedicure. The painting I can manage myself but I'd like my nails but properly as they can get a bit sore around the sides and beautician (naturally) won't poke about.
Sorry it's all a bit 'me, me, me' today. I love reading everyone's posts. This is a smashing group.:A0
