    Good Evening Fabbers,

Rubies thank you for that lol i always look like i have been pulled through a hedge backwards.

I am working on that but i am not finding it easy.

I am currently concentrating on my basic daily fabbing but i am 2 months overdue for 2 vital blood tests. I keep saying on the Monday i will make the appointment the next thing i know its Friday.

I hereby pledge that i will phone and make the appointment tomorrow morning.

Thanks for the kick in the butt everyone.

    regards
    :j
  • Haha Tooties, i'm hereby going to be your online nag and make sure you do, they are important. After a conversation with a friend the other day, I realised I am 2 years-ish over due having my coil taken out (had it 2007) but had totally forgot about it, so phoned docs today, and just waiting for nurse to phone me back now, they have said if they hadn't called back today it would be Friday, so giving them till lunch time Friday then I will be phoning again.

    Hello all,

Lots of new names/faces on here. :)

I don't seem to be able to keep up these days.:(

I'm busy with my OU course that seems to take up more time than my previous modules did and i'm also trying to sort out my home post cat! I'm taking the opportunity to declutter whilst I save for the new carpets needed!

Often people feel threatened by the changes they see in you, especially if those changes also mean you become more confident and assertive, which is what often happens.

This is certainly true OH is always telling me I'm too thin (before I was too FAT!) also makes comments about how thin people are more wrinkly than fat but Ifeel much better with the weight off and though I may have put a bit on with the xmas treats it will only be pounds which will come off as soon as the chocs have gone. I was heartened to see an article in the paper about how people are re-training at an older age for a new career/job as i sometimes wonder why I'm doing the degree which won't end until I'm 52. I am however determined to see it through. To those of you new on here i've found this thread really valuable and supportive and I've come a long way since i first posted- There are still changes i want to make but I feel much more positive i'll get there now, I've had no January plummet this year which is fantastic.
We will get there we are worth it!

    Happy birthday Beluga.:bdaycake:

    Happy belated anniversary Alec.

Hello everyone, and thanks for the birthday wishes :)
Feeling a little more positive today, made an effort to wear something different (purple dress with a black cardigan), my lovely new necklace and some perfume. Went out a bit early and took myself for a coffee, that's something I wouldn't have considered doing a few months ago, so took a few minutes to reflect on how far I've come. Still a long way to go, but babay steps and all that.
Off to the cinema this evening, so that should be nice.

    Happy fabbing everyone :D

Happy birthday Beluga, belated greeting to Alex and Lizzie, what a great post, you threaten away gal, you are obviously getting to him and now you can handle it, rejoice in his discomfort.

If any of you lovely new ladies find the above comment a bit , Lizzie seems to have made a significant hole in a flippin great big brick wall she has had to to do battle with, yea to her.:D

Happy New Year lizzie, good to see you posting.:)

I think I might think of today as my Friday for this week too. I've been to a meeting where I needed to come across as friendly and supportive (which of course I am:D). So instead of a jacket which can look a bit sharp and bossy I wore a soft, lilac sweater with a black pencil skirt, opaques and heels. Light make up, perfume and my hair is in good shape after last week's cut. Tomorrow, I'm likely to be a bit more casual but will make an effort even if all I do is go to Aldi!

Hope you enjoy the film beluga, whatever you see.

Something I've brought up on here before: knickers!! I'm so excited that the style that I like from M&S has been reintroduced after an absence of a couple of years. I ordered 3 packs on click and collect. So come Saturday I'm going to have a clear out of all the old ones and ones I don't like and they're going in the bin!

I also need to have a sort through tights. In an ideal world I'd go bare legged through the summer and then move straight into deep winter and into opaques. I'm really not a fan of ordinary tights. Any way it's opaque season at the moment but I think I need to buy more (although first I need to have a sort out in case any are lurking). I opened a new pack this week but they were 80 denier and really not smart enough, too 'institutional' IYKWIM so I folded them back up carefully and they're off to the CS. Some of the 40 denier are looking a bit 'woolly'. Any recommendations on brands? What do others wear?

Next task is to start looking for something to wear to a wedding next month. I have a 'fall back' dress that would be OK if I don't find anything but ideally I'd want something purple as I've got accessories to go with that but my current purple dress is getting a bit worn looking.

Hope everyone's safe from the storms.:)

    Evening Everyone,

    Happy Birthday Belluga.

Got all my fabbing done today and I fabbed all the kitchen units and managed to get rid of some kitchen junk.

Husband came home for lunch and he was telling me a story about one of the cows and the vet, my memory kicked in and i have finally rang the surgery and got myself booked in for my blood tests.

My usual fabbing is almost becomming a habit now so that is a very positive thing.

To be honest since starting fabbing i feel very positive each day now so thank you ladies you have all done so much for me over the last 15 days (is that all??).

    regards
