Good morning ladies.
Feeling very positive today. Last night I remembered to remove the hair on my top lip! Knew I had to wait until Friday as it needs some time for the redness to go down each time.
Also last night I sign up for the Hairy Bikers Diet Challenge so am up early gett my shopping list together which I started last night.
Have also done an hours worth of Just Dance already too.
Have a good day ladies. XBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Good Morning Fabbers,
Just making a post with todays plans in case the elec goes off with these awful gales.
Usual fabbing this morning then i am planning on returning the new clothes that need to go back. I might try and get some other stuff to replace the returns.
Got some home fabbing, hopefully some sewing, the asda man comes tonight with the groceries.
A lovely pamper session with bubbly bath and a face mask to follow.
I can't believe i just wrote that!! Two weeks ago i could hardly maintain a basic level of hygiene.
We are all doing so well with our positive changes, keep up the fabbing ladies, stay safe with this weather.
Regards:j0 -
I know exactly what you mean Tooties
This thread makes such a difference, i'm not quite sure how, but it does
Won't have much time for fabbing myself today, as DS1 has wall climbing for 2 hours today, followed by opticians appointment for DH and DS2, then we need to get walking boots for both boys and DH hopefully will manage to buy a new laptop.
Also need to tidy dining room and kitchen after last nights visitors
Will however moisturise before and after wall climbing, so much chalk in the air, you can feel it dry your skin while you'll there!Loving life to the full, just need purse full too

Morning everyone, hope you all have a great weekend!
My fabbing is plodding along, did my nails last night and gave my face a good scrub. I haven't managed a lot else tbh, depression is kicking my !!! and I'm feeling pretty hopeless right now. I did force myself to make a doctor's appointment instead of hiding in bed all day, so I'm going to go and ask them for more help.
But it's a new day today, and I'm off to volunteer at a drop in centre this afternoon, then out for a meal tonight. Hopefully keeping busy will help, and I shall try to make an effort with my make up etc. The hair might be a waste of time with the awful wind we're having!
Thanks for the comments about my skin, I'm not using anything new, I just haven't bothered with much at all for a while! I'll try ot stick with it and hope it clears up.0 -
Good morning lovely ladies
Well I made a start. Lost 2.1/2 lbs this week. So I'm feeling quite chuffed.
Just another 3st10 lbs to go:o. A bit of a daunting prospect but Its like anything else I guess, head down and keep going.
One thing I'm really pleased about is I have had no bread cravings and I have managed to lower my sugar intake. Cutting down on sugar alone has to be a real positive for health reasons.
I've even managed to reduce my cheese intake.
A it of a restless night, my own fault I spent the evening on my iPad trawling through Rightmove trying to find suitable properties to view. Of course I couldnt switch off after that.
New resolution - less time on tinternret.
I have three lined up to view this weekend but tbh I can't get excited about any of them really. Finding "the one" is a bit like finding the right man.........:rotfl.
Time to start the day.0 -
Good afternoon (just)
beluga - big hugs to you, I too suffer from depression and really thought it was back this week, but have forced myself up and about and feel alot more positive today. Are you on any medication?
Just back from a very windy dog walk, managed to stay dry so thats a plus, need to get some new wellies as have a leak in one. Dog has rolled in something very smelly so have rubbed her in tomato sauce, but she still stinks.
Hopefully joining the millions of others booking a holiday today, its been dubbed as 'sunshine saturday'.
Once booked I will have just over 8 months to change from a beached whale to a beach babe (ish). Going to be hard work.
Have a good day all xxChiari Brain Malformation - decompression survivor

Hopefully joining the millions of others booking a holiday today, its been dubbed as 'sunshine saturday'.
I have
A long weekend in June with OH and my 2 yonugest GDs
A week in July with OH
A week in August with my 2 eldest GD2 and OH's niece
and 2 long weekends in September with OH
And all for the cost of petrol to get to the Lakes, gas and electricity used while there, and food/day trips (trips with the older girls last year being almost totally paid for by Mr T vouchers, which is looking possible again this year - plus OH and I are about to sign up for NT membership as a belated Christmas pressie to ourselves which will also come in useful up there as well as around home).
I'm lucky that I have access to a property owned by a family member. If they're not using it other family members are welcome to do so (they let us book ahead for times they're not planning to be there so OH can book time off work and we can arrange to 'borrow' the girls), and all I have to pay is the gas/electric used (and for any phone calls we make - normally avoid this one, although I made a few when I broke my wrist while up there last July!) in return for airing the property and giving it a good clean through :T
Off to have a shower and apply my most expensive perfume - I've stopped saving it for 'best' (a couple of outings a year at most), and now use it every weekend when OH comes over. Still need to decide what to wear, as the jeans and sweatshirt I had one yesterday (which will happily survive another days use) are a bit 'frumpish' for when I have his companyCheryl0 -
Hugs and high fives all round
Sounds as if there is a whole load of fabbing going on!
I have been totally on track this week and have fabbed each and every day as well as eating healthily and exercisingIt has made me feel so much better and I am 4lbs slimmer :j
Funny you are all mentioning holidays as I am going to book ours today :rotfl: It looks as if we are going to have a week in a cottage and then a couple of camping trips over the summer. I am also hoping to sneak in a romantic wknd for my OH and I tooJust looking at options now and I am very excited!
Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
I have all my holidays booked at work already too with the exception of 3 days. Am off in the run up to Easter, on my daughters birthday in July, for 2 weeks at the end of September (going to Orlando - v excited), then we are away in the Lakes too for MRM's birthday in December.
The trip in September is the reason for the fabbing cos need to be fitter.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I've often had people assume my 2 eldest GDs are my DDs right from them being tiny babies - an image I'm keen to maintain, so need to get back to the fabbing
Well, I was only 37 and 39 when they were born, so they could be mineCheryl0
