I have completed by fabbing today and i hung up my new clothes so i could try on and so whats to be kept and whats to be returned but i am just so tired that they are still hanging up waiting.

I got jeans, 2 pairs of black trousers, 1 cardi, and about 5 assorted tops, and two pairs of boots with heels on.

Is anyone able to tell me what bb cream is? I was in superdrug and it all really overwhelms me.

I am booked in with the hairdresser first thing tomorrow much to husbands delight.

    Keep on fabbing everyone

    regards
    :j

Tooties - BB stands for Blemish Balm - I think its just a name for tinted moisturiser. I bought some in Home Bargains to try & I like it for everyday as its quite light.

Evening everyone. Some excellent fabing going on. I agree it's about forming new good habits and not beating ourselves up if we have a bad day. We are entitled to a bad day every now and then.

I have done well with using my clarisonic daily and moisturising and using perfume. I need to make more effort with the make up and dressing nicely. I went for a run today and then showered afterwards and put on a skirt and it felt really good. It's amazing how much wearing something nicer can alter your mood. I need to make sure I do this more often. I have no trouble with this in the spring and summer but when it starts getting colder I tend to live in jeans.

I am doing excellent with my healthy eating and so far have resisted chocolate, cakes and McDonald's. I know if I have one piece of chocolate at the moment I will not stop at one so I need to wait until I am a little stronger to resist the urge for excessive amounts. That said, I have not missed it. I have also now completed 7 days of dry January and again so far I have not missed it.

    Evening everyone!
I had a productive day, had a nice bath, went swimming then to a mental health group drop in this evening. I've been going for a while, but spoke to someone today about volunteering there. I've got some info to look at for that. I also signed up to an NHS local weight loss group that starts in Feb, and enquired about a meditation course.
Wow, that seems like a lot written down! I'm stressing out a bit about it all :(

Think I'll have an early night with a good book and try to chill out.

It sounds like a really productive day. Wow!! I'm sure the purpose of the group and the meditation isn't to stress you.;) Go for it!!:T
I've never known what BB cream stands for either. Seems odd that it's for Blemish Balm when it's really quite light. I've got some from Aldi (infrequent special).

I've splashed out on more Benefit today. I bought the Lemon Aid and a tinted moisturiser. Unfortunately the You Rebel has been discontinued so I got the update. The tried some on me in the shop and I was pleased with them.. I'll have a play tomorrow, maybe look on youtube as there are generally good videos on there.

Tried jeans on in Next but didn't like the fit. I may end up with the Sainsbury's ones after all. At least I'll have something to wear while I keep looking.

Hi ladies. A quick pop by to say that today was a much better today and my colleagues are most grateful that I have not insisted that we sit in the dark as I couldn't bear the lights on...

Had a try on of the items that I got at next sale today.. A pile went back to store... Just didn't make me feel fabulous enough to keep it!!

Think it's pamper zone & lush bath tomorrow for me and an early night... Well after the dreaded spin class lol!

Remembered a body lotion after shower this morning and perfume. It's the small things that make a difference. Loving that there are so many of us ... There is always something to catch up on..

    Keep smiling ladies :)

Nice surprise this morning - a £30.00 voucher for M&S in my inbox! So I'll use it for something I wouldn't normally buy but would like IYKWIM.
Just for info - CC cream is Colour Corrective but I've not tried any as I have plenty of foundations. I use the light BB cream for day - a fabulous Estee Lauder one if its anywhere really special as it stays for hours & a darker one that I use in the summer when I have a bit more colour in my face. We have a stall in our local market on a Friday that sells makeup & I buy my Revlon nail varnishes from them - good value as I'm on a budget & I also buy the odd bit there too.
I was out of bath & shower crean & Asda had a promotion on Sanex BIG bottles at 3 for a fiver so got 2 bath & 1 shower crean for dry skin so well stocked at the moment.
Ah well - off to clean of nail varnish & moisturise & perfume for the day as I'll be staying in today
    Happy Fabbing!

  • Hello Fellow Fabbers,

Just a quick check on to keep me on track.

My hair is dreadful and will talk to hairdresser today to see about getting him to rectify it. Though he wont be able to stick the 3 inches of hair he took off for a trim back on!!

Eyebrows tinted. Still sparse but taking the thyroid support vits so hopefully will thicken up.

Invested in raw organic coconut oil from H&B have put it in hair, on eyebrows, lips and nails. £10 reduced for big 500g jar can be used for everything even cooking and eating.

Did a bit of dermarollering on my face and crepey neck/back of hands. Will try and keep that up apparently increased collagen under skin.

Polishing teeth once a day and flossing.

Tea tree oil on fungussy nail.

Appointment made for Orthotropics. Pirateyqueen you must be my twin separated at birth! I have strong chin and was told that yes that would need to be chopped back after jaw extended forward. I told the Otps man and he said 'not unusual' they bring the maxilla forward, nose drops down and profile all lines up. Lips balance out. I go on Tuesday will let you know how I get on.

Droopy eyelids youtube woman called Hotnflashy or Hotandflashy does an excellent make up for droopy eyelids video. She looks like she has had them operated on but insists it is all done with smoke and mirrors ie makeup. She had some great vids for 50 year olds which is what she is.

Don't panic and carry on Fabbing! :-)

Keep up the good work ladies, we're only one week into the year and seems like lots of progress has been made already. :T

Great fabbing minds think alike, I also phoned the dentist for an appointment today. I have also sorted out and ironed a Fab Friday dress to wear tomorrow.

10,000 Posts Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
    Good morning lovely ladies.

Well I have got a staying in day today too, awaiting delivery of a furniture item so today is house Fabbing and have another go at Paleo baking.

I have just been having a bit of a fiscal sort out and as you can see from my signature I have now met this months £5 a day challenge. IM staggered tbh that I have managed it so quickly - it just shows what we can do when we put our mind to things.

I have decided I want to keep this money separately and am aiming for it to be treats money, and for a nice holiday this year.

I have further decided that I am not allowed to go on a nice exotic holiday until I have lost at least two stones. That should keep me motivated:rotfl:

I'm managing well with the healthy eating and daily fabbing, just need to up my game now and start adding some exercise. I also need to get my hair sorted out, I keep putting it off bit I really need to,get a grip.

Oh and I've booked viewings for three properties this weekend.

I'm getting quite excited at the thought of planning the next refurb.....whilst I do miss my OH I am beginning to think about my future now.

Have you noticed the days are getting brighter and longer, Spring is on its way.......:D

Can I lose one stone by Easter - I'm going to give it a try.

    Have a fab day everyone.

    Good Morning Everyone,

Well my long day off yesterday vanished as I got called in for the afternoon to cover a staff illness. I did still get my desk tidied - or the top and pigeon holes at any rate. The drawers will have to wait until tomorrow.

I went to Circuits and Aerobics last night and was pleased I'd made the effort. It was very quiet but the instructor is hoping it will pick up next week. I'm still coughing a bit but it didn't impede me at all.

Today I have a lunchtime meeting with DS and various architects, design companies, builders etc at a local hotel so am in smart mode. I'm wearing a black shift dress, quite fitted but lined so it hangs well. I've teamed it with black opaques, a tiny cardigan with pink and purple stripes and a pearl necklace. I just need to decide whether to go for black suede knee high boots or black court shoes. I've styled my hair again and am quite pleased with the results.

I am at work till just after 5 and will go straight from our meeting so I am hoping that some food will be provided. I've got a salmon steak planned for tea so that is sorted. I will be babysitting from 6.45 so need to be organized. The only thing I haven't managed to do is deliver all this week's work publicity to the various shops and cafes around the village so will have to do what I can as I walk home.

Hope everyone has a good day.
