    Debt-free and Proud!
Skincare routine not happening, but lipstick, handcream, clothes, hair OK! Can't have everything all at once...
  • Put some moisturiser in the car, and keep applying while waiting for railway crossings or boys to come out of school, hands feel better after only 2 days, so will keep this up.

Feeling very fabulous today as my little girl (18) is back from Dublin so family is complete again :)

    Now that's a great idea.... I'm on that :):)

Loving keeping up with everyone's news.

Wore make-up today but self conscious of the fact that people noticed!

Must have looked good, take it as a compliment!:)

Great that your DH is encouraging you tooties. Do tell what you bought!

I wore opaques with black suede heels tonight. It's a good flattering look for legs, gave me a lift. Worn with a pretty White Stuff velvet skirt. Felt good.

Might venture into city centre tomorrow, haven't even looked at Sales yet.
  • just smothered face in night cream ready for good night sleep

Morning all, Yesterday was not a Nsd for me..I spent £50 on new clothes..although I spend about £20 a year on basics and thats it. These where all slobby unflattering clothes. Now I have a stack of new to me lovely vintage ones..I may need some summer capris and maybe some cork wedges. But I feel fine..I cut and colour my hair myself and cut the familys too so really this year £100 ish on new clothes and basics is not bad! Best of all I bought a stunning Hell bunny dress for just £7
So far got dressed in nice new clothes, had porridge, vitamins, pot of nice loose leaf teas. styled hair and put on make up and one of my lovely button rings. Feel great
Thanks for the advice about Caci, I have never heard of it, I'm not afraid of a little non surgical procedures..have even considered a boob reduction and tummy tuck for my 45th so I have a few years to save. My boobs are too big for my frame and I have resis diasis (sp) My stomach muscles seperated when i was expcting my 3rd son (he had his head stuck in my hip for 12 weeks right until he was born) so nothing but surgery will sort that out sadly, also causes bad bladder control so I feel like a very old lady and wear towels most of the day :( ..Anywho the price we pay for having our darling children..it's still worth it I think. (had 8 years trying for our first so very blessed!)
    Have a great day all

    Good Morning Fabbers

well what a merry gang we are and my goodness how we have swelled in numbers. It's lovely to see so many new faces. Just think in a few months there will be this vast army of fab-u-lous women out there.

the world won't know what has hit it.

Well I got to IKEA' thanks for the quiet time tip, Maman. We went at around 3 ish as you suggested and it was much better. We managed to get most of what we wanted for the office and some extra interior figments for the wardrobes. So within a couple of weeks we should more or less have all the storage isorted out anda fully functioning offiice.

I didn't manage to get everything I wamted because of a little dietry hiccup.

After eating clean for about a week or so I slipped up yesterday and indulged in one of ikeas delicious desserts, a carb laden sugar, chocolate and wheat confection. About an hour later I was doubled up with IBS symptoms and had to race to the loo. We hD to cut our trip short.

I think that has proved to me beyond all doubt now that I just cannot eat things like that any more and that I am definitely on the right track with my Paleo diet.

We had planned to eat out at a Restaurants near IKEA but I was a bit nervous so we chose one of my old favourites nearer to home, just in case. Luckily I was fine and there were no side effects after my very naughty but oh so nice plate of fish and chips.

So it looks like clean living from now on;)

Right time to start the day........

Keeeeep fabbing. Enjoy your shopping trip Maman.

Mummy to three - glad you enjoyed your little spend on new clothes. And no you shouldn't feel guilty at all.

Re the "er hem" bladder problem ........

Yes we ladies do often pay a high price for having children.

I have also begun to suffer from the odd "Tenna Lady" moment and I desperately want to avoid a prolapsed uterus in the future. My friend has just had surgery for this and I really want to avoid that scenario.

My sister works in B&&ts and I have aske her to investigAte some of their gizmos to see what might work best to try and strengthen the old pelvic floor muscles. I Do try and do the usual pelvic floor exercises but I think Im a bit beyond that now.

Sweetcheeks - hope the migraine has cleared now. Poor you, they are horrible.

DS1's Birthday get together was great. I had a comment on how nice I looked, someone else noticed my nails & another person liked my perfume (not overpowering - Dolce Vita) and didnt get home until after midnight!
I should have gone to the gym yesterday morning but felt bleugh with the cold lurking but I've continued with the Lemon powders & its seems to be keeping it at bay so may go this morning instead
    Have FAB day ladies

    Good Morning Lovely Ladies,

I've not posted for a few days as I was struck by the coughing virus that has been sweeping our local area. I felt very ill Saturday night and all day Sunday but seem to have got off fairly lightly compared to many people as I am well on the way to recovery now. I'm still coughing a bit but feel fairly well - though the old pelvic floor doesn't cope well with coughing fits!!!

Today is my first day without any work or babysitting commitments for ages so seems to be stretching ahead of me with myriad possibilities. I'm dressed in a wine coloured sweater dress teamed with black leggings and boots and my hair has kept its style from yesterday. I could do with some sort of pendant necklace to wear with my sweater dresses so shall look out in the charity shops but am wearing a short chunky black and silver one at present. I foot filed my feet earlier and am wearing perfume (I do automatically every day). I was supposed to be starting running again today but have postponed it until next week to make sure I am fully fit, though I may try out aerobics this evening. I also managed Pilates last night and have suggested a walk to my running friend for later in the day - she has had the virus worse than me so not sure if she'll be up to it.

I need to cover up to go and clean the chickens out shortly and then I am going to do various de cluttering jobs around the house. My desk needs a sort out and I want to transfer important telephone numbers into my new household planner. I've also a couple of bits of ironing to finish and some clothes to put away.

I've another hair appointment scheduled for Friday and I'm going to rebook for more highlights at the end of the month as I've a big family party on the 31st which I want to look my best for.

    My goals for January

    To lose 6lbs
    Start running again
Master the new hairstyler I was given for Christmas to keep my hair looking as close to hairdresser perfect as possible.
Get my feet into good condition
Try to do the 21 day Primal Blueprint Challenge on Mark's Daily Apple which starts a week today.
