Welsh lady, I really sympathise with the 'putting myselfqlast thing. I have three kids and a DH and there's always something more important to do.
At least today I've made a good start - no alcohol and I'm in bed already. Tomorrow the dog will get an extra long walk and I have a healthy food day prepared.Trying to keep in budget.

Finished tidying up, put boys to bed, and brushed my hair and put some short pj's on that hubby bought me a while ago, and poured myself a tia maria (I was driver last night, so i'm allowed).
Got a nice smile off the hubby as I settled down for the night.Loving life to the full, just need purse full too

Evening,
Welcome to the fabbing club ladies!!!!
I have had a deep relaxing bath and attended to all my fabbing.
Quite nervous about going to the dentist tomorrow as usual but she is always kind as she knows i am a tad anxious.
Was just reading the thread and i cannot believe i haven't started my new diary yet (i'm a big stationary addict) but i have decided to schedule in some me time every day whether it be extra fabbing or reading quietly i think i deserve that.
Ladies i'm sure that we will all reach our goals.

Morning everyone,
Congratulations on your forthcoming wedding not_so_witty!
Up bright an early as back to the work thing after a nice Christmas break.
I'm in my sloppy clothes though as I'll be cleaning all day, the joys of being a manager and setting a good example! I have put my make up on, hair is up to keep it out of the way and I've had a squirt of perfume so I've made as much effort as I can today.
Going to have a nice long soak in the bath tonight and try and de-stress a bit, I've noticed my back and shoulders are very tense and this usually leads to a bout of migraines so I need to make sure I loosen them off. Things are a bit hectic at the moment as FIL in hospital and its a 5 hour round trip to visit him.
I'm just off to make my lunch, instead of buying it to save some pennies for DD1 wedding :T. Need to make sure I grab some breakfast before I go to stop me picking at all the work biscuits when it's coffee time.
Have a good day everyone :jSave £12K challenge 2015 # 173£0.00/£10,0000 -
I went to bed last night well and truly fabbed:
Body moisturised, eye cream on (the bit I usually forget), feet slathered in Vicks Vaporub (Vaseline with a nice smell), face treated with an ESPA facial oil and hands covered with coconut oil.
I feel smooth and lovely this morning.
Thank you to the poster who mentioned coconut oil for hands - I bought some and after three days of using it at night I can feel a difference.
Still trying to establish a fabbing routine - adding this week
body brush before my shower
full moisturise after my shower
daily fingernail and hand care (I have short nails and no polish because of my work so it won't be time consuming
confessing I still forget to floss - will put a post-it on my mirror.0 -
Morning all. I am really trying to get back into some sort of sleep routine. Last night I gave in tossing and turning and got up and read a book. Finally felt tired at 2.40am so went to bed then. I had to be up sharp today to take OH to the garage to have his car serviced and I am determined not to go back to bed until tonight. Hopefully this will do the trick.
Fab wise I really need to start establishing a good bed-time routine. I can all too often finish watching something on TV and then just go straight to bed - without washing my face or even brushing my teeth so this has got to change.
Fabbing plans today:
1. Get out in the fresh air and have a walk.
2. Book an appt to have a pedicure.
3. Cleanse, tine moisturise - I use Liz Earle stuff as I know my skin likes it.
4. Do a home manicure.0 -
Lovely to see so much fabby enthusiasm going on, I have visions of lots of happy little butterflies spreading their wings and emerging from the darkness. I have sauntered through the day, refusing to rush around and maintain some of the holiday feeling. I made myself a healthyish sandwich and salad for lunch an even drank a glass of water - yes a whole one. I quite liked it, so am going to aim low and have at least one a day - should at least be able to do that I think rather than promising to drink a litre or two and not drink any.
I wore a nice dress to work and got a couple of compliments and have also been to yoga today, so should sleep better tonight.BTW - there is a website http://fiftynotfrumpy.polyvore.com & an American lady posts clothes collections that are smart & trendy & suitable for us more mature ladies.
Thanks for sharing, I like that it's quite similar styles to another blog I follow: http://www.theviviennefiles.com/Mortgage

Hello everyone, and happy new year! I am impressed with all the positivity in this thread, we will make 2015 a fab year!
I'm back at work today with a new haircut, and freshly painted nails so am feeling pretty good. I've had a couple of weeks off from the gym so am looking forward to getting back to that today. I am quite pleased with how my fabbing went last year so aim to continue steadily along the same path!
My main goal for 2015 is to start the long journey to getting my teeth fixed, so I am particularly interested in what DeeDeeinDooDoo's experiences are, as I too have an overbite and over jet. I can get it fixed on the NHS, but it is around 2 1/2 years of treatment with braces and a jaw surgery (!) At the moment I am keen to get going on it, but the process is so long (my next appointment isn't until mid May and even then that is just to say I wish to go ahead, not to get any treatment) and I'm not quite sure how I'll feel with braces at 28, but I have heard that it is worth it.No more goo hoarding!
