Frugal Frump to Fab - 2015

Well the dermalogica kit arrived this morning. My skin feels better already.
Damn there's nothing for it, it's back to the dermalogica for me.....just have to cut down somewhere else to pay for it and look for the best offers.
Now I've found it again, I don't want to give it up.....trouble is my beauty/clothing budget is so small there not much I can cut back on....
Have had a lovely little pamper session, waterd all the house plants and fed the washing machine. Time for a little walk now.
Got the builder coming round this afternoon to discuss a couple of outside jobs.
Have a fab weekend.0 -
LL - Pleased that the Dermalogica is what your skin needs, even though it is pricey, for the future would your family be up for giving you money/vouchers for birthday and Christmas so that you could have something that you really need? The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. Now why did I not think of that :rotfl::rotfl:

Hello all. Hope everyone is well.
LL the funeral arrangements sound lovely for mum. Maddie hope the funeral went well for you're uncle too- hugs .
It was my birthday y-day and I had a lovely day- well apart from mum texting- I called her and she just ranted about my gran. Not pleasant really but not sure why after all these years I expected it to be any different really.
Away out last night with oh and been lazy day today with box set to relax. I need to have a shower later. Scrub then body oil & then moisturiser once than has sank in. Skin on arms is really dry. Need to stop neglecting myself espcially with nicer weather. I suppose we could all do with mini kick up the bum really.....
Take care ladies

Hi everyone,
Sweetcheeks - happy birthday.
LL - I'm sure there are deals to be had on the skincare. Try ebay.
Beluga - congrats on the volunteering. I'm sure you'll be fab.
Maddie - sorry to hear about your uncle.
I'm currently un-fab. I have head lice! Ds is in reception and has a headful of curls! Bad news is that ds has given it to me and dd - Mr Chanie has short hair so managed to escape.
Other than that, things are busy in the chanie household -
We have 15 people over on goid Friday and I'm also planning ds birthday party for his whole class!!!
I need to get my finances back on track. OH has had a bad few months workwise, just as my I'd started to get my overdraft down. I guess I took my eye off the ball, so I need to get back to frugality.0 -

Oh I missed that. Belated Happy Returns sweetcheeks.
Sorry to hear about the headlice chanie. Hope it's sorted soon. Remember it's nothing to do with cleanliness, just children playing/working head to head and it's so much harder to get rid of with curls as it's harder to get a comb through. School holidays should give you a chance to sort it. Until he goes back and plays with the same child again.:(0 -
Thank you

I hope that everyone is safe and well, pretty blowy here and the dog is not amused, so much so she would not eat her bedtime biscuit:(
I needed to set my alarm for 05:00 as I needed to start stage 2 of my prep for endoscopy and gastroscopy this afternoon, won't say more as it would be TMI:o I am starving hungry, not been able to eat since yesterday's lunch and my appointment is not until 14:00, no fluids either from now on, so off to do some pampering to take my mind off everything. I bought some glacier mints as the paperwork said I could have those yesterday, but it is not apparent if they are allowed today, I think I will have to risk it as I already feel a bit queasy. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time.
