Just a quick heads up.
It would appear I have a stalker. Not from this thread I might add - you are all lovely.
I have reported them to the mods I may get banned for my pains, so if I suddenly disappear you know why.
I still feel ill so it's back to bed.
Hopefully I'll talk to you all soon.
If I cant, then keep going in my honour:rotfl:0 -
Good morning
Well I've made a start.....
Imedeen started today, booked a hair appt for next week. Not much I know but better than nothing.
Still feeling rather grim, so no plans for today. Glorious sunshine so will try and have a walk to the corner shop and maybe sit out in the garden for a few minutes.
The clocks go forward this week, are we ready to come out of hibernation, all defuZzed and groomed....I have to confess I look very pale, can't wait for some warm weather......
Fabbing in your lunch break - fantastic. Little and often is the key.
I just need to,follow my own advice.....I'm not looking good at the moment, pale, strained, tired, hair like rats tails. Not good at all.
I really need a boost but not sure how best to,get one. Can't even face a holiday - just too much like hard work......lol0 -

I'll be glad to hear how you get on with the Imodeen.
I'm another (although not with your reasons) feeling very pale and jaded after the winter. I, too, am hoping for great things from the sun and lighter evenings.:)
In the process of fabbing (sitting here with wet hair waiting for it to dry off a bit). I started a new shower gel this morning. Not one I'd chosen but an M&S gift from someone. And I had to cut the top off body moisturiser to use it up. I always get a sense of satisfaction working through stocks of toiletries. ONE day I'll only use my absolute favourites. I never understand people on the OS threads who say they need a big chunk of spend on toiletries. Mine seem to last forever and I am clean. Honest.:o0 -
Morning All
Sorry to hear you are feeling so bad LL but you've had a very rough ride for the past months so it is hardly surprising. I think on top of everything you've been through it's been a bad start to the year for various bugs and illnesses. Lots of people have been saying the same as I feel - very run down, tired and succumbing to lots of colds, etc. That's one of the reasons I've not posted much recently. I can feel the difference it makes to me to as I've put on a few pounds with being tired and not eating as well as normal. Lets hope the advent of Spring will revive us all.
I had a run this morning and managed to do it in my fastest time yet! It was 5k and took 35 minutes which is not fast to some people (I know that some manage 10K in the same time) but pleased me. Hopefully, it will help burn off a few extra calories, especially as I've Circuits and Aerobics tonight. Wednesdays are my busy day exercise wise and I've been treating it as a day I can eat what I want. However, today I've fished some home made soup out of the freezer and am going to cut out the treats in an attempt to get back on the straight and narrow. I also have been eating sugar again and again getting too hot in bed so need to knock that on the head.
I had to go into work this morning to let the plumber in and wait a couple of hours till he finished. Theoretically it's my day off but it's also DS's day off and he was busy so I went in. I got some filing and paperwork done so it wasn't wasted time. I've been spending my spare time sewing and have made 2 more life size dolls for DDiL's new venture (pictures on Make Do, Mend and Minimise Thread on OS). I've enjoyed making them and it stops me nibbling too as I don't want to get sticky fingers whilst I'm sewing.
Hope everyone has a good day.

Hugs LL, such a rotten time....
yesterday i walked into work and a colleague (20 years younger than i) said "You look fab! Have you had botox?":rotfl: I think it was a compliment.....
However, I had been experimenting with (Aldi version of) Touche Eclat......I wanna be in the room where it happens0 -

Ooh! I love compliments. How were you using it?
Just came on quickly to say that your lifesize dolls are excellent rose.:)0 -
Good morning
Still feeling awful, over a week now......
MAma n - no point pestering the doctor, there's no need for anti-biotics. My chest is quite clear despite the cough.
It's just rest and fluids.......and try not to feel sorry for myself.
I have a book on the go and DS 2 has downloaded some stuff for me to watch so I'm happy enough.0 -
Morning All
My healthy re start was a bit scuppered yesterday when I spilt boiling coffee down my front at work. I managed to get ice on it straight away and got brought home but spent the next 8 hours lying on the sofa with ice packs down my front!! I managed to cool most of it away but still have a small area of bright red and blistering across my cleavage. DH brought home chocolate to cheer me up so I lay there with a book eating chocolate and replenishing ice packs (and when they melted frozen prawns which then I ate once they had defrosted - waste not want not).
I've got Yoga this morning which should be ok. DH is away today and tomorrow so I should be able to take the opportunity to plan some healthy meals to suit me. What I mustn't do is feel I need treating as I'm missing him and go out and buy lots of little treats to compensate as I often do when he is away!

Hello everyone, been absent for a little bit but I'm back for a catch up today.
I have lost a little bit more weight, so some more clothes fit that didn't fit a few weeks ago. I went to get my hair cut yesterday and have decided to grow my very short hair into an inverted bob. My hairdresser thinks it should be looking something like it by the summer, so I didn't lose much hair yesterday, but it does look pretty different already.
Have a good day one and all.0
