Well since your argument is that women seem to spend all their time working - both at an office and at home, I'll counter and say my wife has her own business so she does work from her office out of the house but she does very little housework.

    We have a cleaner.

    I do the cooking.

    She's not DIY inclined.

I take care of all "technology" tasks.

Come to think of it, she barely needs to lift a finger when she's at home.

Not exactly a "gain" from marriage though, more a practical solution to issues encountered so that both of our free time is more relaxed.

You sound like a wonderful husband topez :T

Financial benefits, a different name, a ring, memories, legal certificate.

    That's it really.

Nah, I'm actually quite a nuisance to live with! :D

I see it more as logical. I only actually go to the office for my employer 1-2 times a fortnight so I'm working from home most days. Makes sense for me to do the cooking so its ready for when she gets home, since she's not usually home until after 10pm.

And my wife is not particularly technologically inclined. I cut short a trip to Frankfurt once because her computer had "broken" and I knew she needed it for work. I come home to find out she'd just switched the WiFi off on the physical switch she claimed "wasn't there before" so it is best I deal with that stuff too :D

The ability to pull the plug on the machine?

Everything else I can get from being in a long-term relationship and putting in place appropriate legal stuff.

Still nothing valuable that a woman gains from marriage in 2014........

Nothing valuable? You need to do a bit of googling!

This is a good place to start:

(I'm assuming you're thinking of a woman who is already in a relationship with a man or wishes to be. If the woman doesn't actually want that, then no there aren't a great many benefits to pairing off for the sake of it if you'd rather not!)

It would be so much easier if the men who have all those demands were to make them known before the marriage, sadly they keep them secret till after the honeymoon:(
