Best-laid plans.... Mr LW called to say they've got some problems come up and he's staying to help sort them. He'll call when he's about to leave.

Talk of the devil, I was just about to hit Submit, and he's just called to say he's on his way.:o

Not sure if I'll get much time to post over next 4 days, so for all those celebrating, have a wonderful time, and may all your dreams be carried upon the wings of Dragons.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

No pigpen, it isn't too much to ask your family to help you. Calming vibes coming your way, and a few kicks aimed at the backsides of any lazy or thoughtless people in your house or elsewhere.

Quick stocktake of what I've done so far:
[STRIKE]- get frozen Christmas puds out of the freezer
    - shower
    - strip our bed
    - WM x 4
    - clean bathroom and ensuite
    - hoover up- and downstairs
    - remake our bed except for the duvet cover, which I can't do easily on my own
    - make soup
    - make giblet stock in SC
    - make mince pies[/STRIKE]
    - sweep and mop kitchen floor
    - finish wrapping and bagging presents
    - tidy the study bedroom
    - visit my friend, taking soup and her DGD's gift
    - prepare veg for tomorrow
    - hm fish and chips for our tea!
    - ....and r-e-l-a-x!
    - midnight service to take us over into Christmas Day.

All on track atm - it will be at least another hour before DH is home from the railway. My timings have worked out well, so that I can watch The Gruffalo's Child and On Angel Wings as I wrap presents :D

Will be back later tonight for a final peep at what's going on in Flylady World before I shut the computer down.

    Afternoon everyone.

Had a quick whizz around house this morning.
    Cat tray emptied and cleaned.

Met DD for lunch which was nice and relaxing as we didn't have to do any food shopping. We did brave Mr A as she wanted to pop in for something. I was dreading it but I've seen it worse. Both grandsons have been and dropped presents off.

Just having a cuppa then going down to my friends. Back home to chill and treat myself to a pizza.

Hugs, spoons, sticks and calming vibes where needed.

Merry Christmas to you all. xx

Pretty much tidied, will vacuum later. And wrapped last few presents.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

    Hi all.
Valli, terrible news :(. So sorry.
Piggers, oh dear. Nothing to say really apart from, sorry it's a bit pants.
    Bossy, lovely littlies :).

Lots more I wanted to say but can't remember it :o. The dog thinks she is a cat, she's climbed up onto the back of the sofa and is curled up looking out of the window!

I'm just going to get another coffee before I think about getting into the shower and getting ready for work.
My sister has just left with the kids so I can quickly straighten their beds so the elves can leave their pyjamas.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas.
I am hoping it won't be too awful at work tonight, it's dreadful when people are so ill that they can't enjoy it at all. Last year on Christmas Eve night, we had an outbreak of norovirus  which ripped through the ward from about 22:30 :(.
