Merry chrimboloid to everyone. I hope you are all having a fabby day xxx

Thank you also to my Secret Fly-Santa.. the yarn made me chuckle and I love microfiber cloths.. much appreciated <3

I got yankee candles from another secret santa I was in... I'm made up with my gifts, all of them.

OH got me lots of knitty things and a binary clock.. I got him a word clock for his birthday. And I got a knitty mug and pinking shears and I'm so pleased.. still didn't get the ring DD1 and I have our eye on ;) We shall be working on him.

I have spent my voucher from MOL so I have new clothings on their way.. shame I live in my jammies and dressing gown!

I didn't actually get any sleep last night.. we got to bed at 5:46 and the children were already awake!! I am exhausted and my eyes keep doing a force quit! lol

Off to create lunch.. and may boss OH to watch them so I can have me a power nap, with the excuse of taking Pixie for a nap! ;)

The turkey is browning, we've been swimming and for a walk on the Hoe to watch hundreds of Plymouthians and their kiddies practise riding new bikes and scooters. Lovely.

I was showing OH the new peanut feeder and heard 'Mew, mew!' Sure enough, there was a cat stuck down a lightwell, crying for all it was worth and OH now thinks he may have heard it last night. We have liberated it with the use of ladders and thick gloves, and I hope it finds its way home to a merry welcome. Merry Christmas to everyone who has special animals near to them, dear to them or just in their hearts.
    Better is good enough.

    Merry Christmas!
Just having a break between courses. Dog is so stuffed from her Christmas dinner (including smoked salmon starter!) that she is crashed out and can't manage DS's leftovers!
DS is delighted with his Johnny Cash cd's from Father Christmas.
DD is equally delighted with her muffin tray.
Both kids let out squeals of delight over the most random items (cow vitamins anyone?!).
    *see you all later xx

    Merry Christmas everybody.

So far so good here. We were up stupidly early, and I hadn't really slept either as we had 3 in a room and I kept thinking DS was going to fall out of bed, lol. Grannies have both gone for a nap, but the kiddies weren't having any of it. An early night for us I think. Stepdad is snoozing on one sofa and FIL on the other haha. So we are watching the Lego movie.

The kiddies love their presents - DS is over the moon with his lego high speed train, and DD has all sorts of princess bits and bobs. The Rapunzel styling head was a hit.

I'm completely stuffed so no pud for me yet. But dinner was delicious. Although the kids didn't eat much. They are having butties and salad bits now. They loved their cornetto instead of a hot pud.

So all is good here, lots of homes to find for lots of things. But I have all weekend to sort that out.

    Really nice day, here.

DS3.. frenzied opened his presents then said to DS2 'there's not much is there?' .... seriously this kid is so ungrateful.. what he didn't know was in the other room there were 3 new (to them) consoles so the money obviously came out of what I had available and that meant reduced piles.. he is now enthusing about a pair of thermal socks.. which were £6 .. seriously nutty child.

My hands hurt from opening boxes.

Pixie has been asleep for abut 3 hours, I was snoozing for about half an hour, OH has been asleep on and off all day and Dot is unable to wake up so snoring on the sofa.

Off to do dinner.. meatballs and pie by the could of it.. it may come with chips.. they are speedy and easy and I can boss OH to peel spudatoes.

  • Merry Christmas everybody.

We have had a lovely, quiet day here. DD2's boyfriend joined us for Christmas dinner, and now he and DD2 have headed off to his family party. Poor DD2 looked wrecked. I hope she is okay.

I hope everyone is having a good day. The house is completely trashed, but tomorrow is another day, and I can sort it then. I am off to watch Dr Who and Miranda....
