  • Orange curd is easy to make. My kids used to love this with nutella in sandwiches (not my cup of tea personally). you can use it in place of jam in tarts, also it's really good swirled with orange buttercream in a chocolate cake.

If you peel the oranges and break them into segments or cut them into juicy-looking quarters then put them on a plate, will your kids eat them then?

Sometimes an orange can be just too much effort!!

I had a bunch of oranges to use up over the weekend and made marmalade as has already been suggested. Really quite easy to do, and the extra jars make for great presents. Also quite cheap, as the only other thing you'll need is sugar.

    Hello everyone,

Wondered if you could give me some inspiration. I have 4 oranges to use and no idea what to do with them! I am not a big fan of them by themselves but I had to buy them this weekend for a sports match. I bought too many and don't want to see them go to waste.

    Any ideas?
