Hi artydoll,
We have an earlier thread with lots of ideas so I've added your thread to it to keep the suggestions together.

I've just seen on an email from tesco, they have sliced a bit off the top, scooped out the flesh and squeezed the juice out, and used that in making orange jelly. Then, cut a face in the orange, like you would a pumpkin lantern. When the jelly is set, spoon into the orange to serve as Halloween pud! They look quite cute.Bossymoo

I made some nice orange sponge cakes last weekend - ordinary sponge cakes with the juice and grated zest of an orange in each.0

I'm just about to deal with the last of the lemons and mandarins from my trees, so am making lemon curd and going to try out a mandarin curd too.
I put in small containers and freeze, so that I've got a good supply for a while, and it won't go off. Great mixed in with some Greek yoghurt.
With the peel, I'll be making some limoncello and a mandarin type liqueur, and any excess will be for a citrus vinegar for cleaning. I've made some really lovely triple sec in the past with orange peel. Easy peasy to make, but there is a bit of a wait for it to be ready.0 -

What about making Chinese Orange Sauce and sealing in recycled jars for fakeaway nights.
Orange cake, as mentioned.
Marmalade!
Could you also freeze some in slices, to use in drinks, and dry some to hang on the Christmas tree?0 -
I've got an orange glut as well... but I don't like zesting (so eating) waxed skins and these are waxed.
Anyone know how to get around that problem?:hello:0 -
I remove the wax by putting the citrus fruit in a bowl of hot water (as hot as I can stand with rubber gloves on) and scrubbing it gently with a vegetable brush.0

Another vote for marmalade! If you have a food processor, you can juice the oranges and then wuzz the outside in that, gives a super texture to the finished product, and it's quick and easy.
I have a recipe for three-fruit marmalade which uses three each of oranges, lemons and grapefruit, but you can use any combination of citrus; my last batch was "St Clements Marmalade", using 5 lemons and 4 oranges. I've just had some on toast! If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
