  • Hi everyone!
I have had a busy morning doing a bit of switching - although this hasn't actually reduced my debt it will lessen the interest in the long run. Have switched the storecard to my Lloyds cc at 0% for 18 months but already has a balance of £915.29 and was a fee of £54 but having reviewed the interest was paying each month (£31) think this will work in my favour in the long run!!
So now have to ask if can change my starting total to £2754.29

    #102 - £100/£2754.29[/COLOR]

Onwards and upwards -or should I say downwards!

    Frogmella x
    Lloyds cc - £140
    M&S - £1600
    Loan - £7700
    Car finance - £6800
    Where to begin????
  • I get paid on the last working day of the month- my next payday 30th Jan - seems like forever away!

My DD are set to come out on the 1st of every month (most came out today) and i manually pay the others on payday for the forthcoming month. (so paid the other day for January)

I worked my debt out as of 1st January 2015, and then deducted the payments i have made towards them so far this month.

Hi Chesterroo - I do exactly the same as Kittycat - any debts paid between 1/1/15 and 31/12/15 I include in this challenge.;)
    Blitz that mortgage
    Jun 2016 £152,000
    April 2021 £85,000
  • Thanks everyone for your advice. I think I am going to go with adding payments I make in 2015 for my total so I may be a little late getting off the mark :rotfl:

Amr - I'm not such a big fan of the £1 a day thing, as I'd only have to take money out to put in the jar! I did get a tin from the £shop for 50p's and any money left in my purse on pay day. Ended up with £180, so not bad!

Yes that's what I was thinking, at least with £2 coins it's whatever I get?

I like the idea of 50ps and spare change so may do that instead :)

The problem with saving £2 coins is that someone inevitably hands you £8 change in £2 coins...

I'd love to be added to this challenge please!

I'm ashamed to admit the debt I want to have paid off by Xmas 2015 is a huge £53416 (and that's only about half of my total debt, but that's for another year).

My repayments won't amount to much in the first month or two but as I'm self employed and building up my business I hope that by the end of the year I'll be making large enough payments to have paid at least the majority of my goal amount for 2015.

Would really appreciate it if PABLOSAMMY could assign me a number and here's where I'm at on Jan 3rd 2015.
