Me too!!!!
Me three!
Well done everyone for keeping trucking. This is just a quick stop by to update everyone's totals and to catch up on everyone's news! Massive congratulations to everyone making payments, and making little sacrifices along the way to do so.
Mossy - sounds like you've had enough drama for the time being! Time to relax in the sun, it looks like it's going to be a lovely week.
Bogbrsh250 - congrats on being offered the job, and I understand the dilemma! Let us know what you decide to do
I've not been as good as I should... I really need to get back on track. Well, I'm not that far off track, but I haven't been saving as much as I should to pay off the debts. This month's been expensive for various reasons, and I've bought a few things at once which I've been putting off for a while. May WILL be better!
Keep those updates coming everyone, you keep us all going :T0 -
morning everyone.
firstly can I just say a big thankyou to lottie_clark for your kind words and encouragement after my last post.
No problemos my lovely - that's what we're all here for!
And helllloooooo to all the newbies (and oldies who I have yet to say hey too)! :hello:
My update is more administrative then actual but hoping it'll all be cleared up by end of April and roll on payday next week too!
Chasing my £35 Pandora refund from January - outstanding
Chasing my £19 train ticket refund from UoM - outstanding but my old Course Director HAS finally got hold of my claim form so that should be processed soon
Chasing HMRC to invoice for my UoM work - sending my UTR out in the post TODAY if Tracy on the phone this morning is to be believed so hopefully can get that claim in too!
As my car went to the Great Scrap Heap In The Sky last month I got £84 in Car Tax back. I've put it in the savings account as the plan is to buy a new motor so I'll prob be paying it back to DVLA soon anyway (trying to source a £30 Car Tax motor if I can though!)
Also received £350 freelance payment but have done the same thing as the likelihood is this will go towards the new car
Was also informed by the OH that although he applied for a £25,000 loan for the house refurb (in all of 1 minute through his online banking ) we are splitting the repayments so I owe £238 for this month (and the same next month) so that was a kick in the teeth! Especially as the building work hasn't even begun yet! Will be magically pulling that amount from my behind then!
Payday on Friday should sort me out and hopefully I'll have sorted myself out with a car too. If I haven't touched that £350 I'll throw the lot at the debt.
And keep chasing my other bits and pieces. And get on the jobhunt too - you lot seem to be having some luck in that department so maybe the good luck will rub off on me too!
Love to all - keep going sunny peeps!

I haven't reported for a while. I had such high hopes to get this debt paid off by June, but our shower enclosure doors broke and we've had to pay out to replace it all. Everything is still at 0% though and I'm almost half way!

Checked my pay slip and online banking tonight, and my student loan (£340) and First Direct loan (£331) have both gone out, bringing my spreadsheet total to...

Woop! Half way there! :j
I have had to pay my credit card off too, but as that wasn't included in my original total I won't count it towards my payments. That's just my punishment for being frivolous :rotfl:0 -

#156 checking in.
So, my final loan payment of £102.57 and my first of 8 payments of £750 to my other half both came out today so £852.57 paid, which is it for the month now!
I know I have the debt to my girlfriend now, but it feels so good to be able to say at this stage of the month that all the money I do have in the bank is mine and that come November payday I have paid off everything I owe! I can now plan ahead for a few days away in August and Leeds festival without worrying too much about it. It sounds a bit daft but since I made the standing order for the other halfs payments, I feel so much better to the point Iv slept better and feel physically better because of it!
Hopefully all of you can have that feeling to some degree soon - got my virtual fingers crossed for all of you!£2 savers club #54 Current total - £86
