Hi everyone, had a few bits of money come in which I was hoping to use to pay off a little bit of debt and put some towards our holiday spending money...however...DD fell and ended up putting some of her teeth through her mouth!!! :eek:_pale_ My poor little girl it was so awful.
Anyway the upshot has been that with paying out for hospital parking (x 2 as we ended up being referred to a different a&e as she needed six stitches), buying some food on the way home late in the evening as we hadn't eaten since lunch time, buying lots of ice lollies and various food that are easier for her to eat (her mouth has been really swollen), we've spent all the money we were going to use for saving/debt busting etc plus a lot more.
I have had a couple of quidco things get confirmed this week though so hopefully I'll be able to put a little bit of extra money away before payday. I really need to start building up my emergency fund as well, although our fridge freezer has been dying for the last year so I'm trying to not spend any emergency funds as at some point we'll suddenly need to buy a new fridge!
Well done to everyone on the debt busting.Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!:starmod: Emergency Fund Savings - #148 - £10/£1000 1% :starmod::xmastree:#083 SPC6 £63 - SPC7 £90 - SPC8 £63 - SPC9 £54 - SPC10 £26 - SPC12 £70 :xmastree:0 -

Just another small £52 payment from me again this week, hoping that May will bring some bigger payments in and get me back on track.
I'm due to pay my brother back in full on the 1st of May and then looking forward to tackling debts that are actually accruing interest!

Thank you abba.The swelling has gone down a lot more and although it still looks bad it's nowhere near as bad as it was! She went back to school today and didn't have any problems so that's good.

:eek: How awful, i hope that she is doing ok now x Hospital parking is a nightmare and complete rip off not MSE at all :money: Our hospital does 30 mins for free (takes you 20 minutes to walk from car park to the department you need!!) and then its £2.50 for 1-2 hours (like you are every going to be seen in A&E in less than 2 hours!) and then £5 for 2-24 hours (I mean come on, may as well leave the car there over night and bus it back!)
I've had 3 trips to hospital with my youngest in the last 3 weeks, (Rugby injury- leg brace, fracture clinic and now physio for 6 weeks so more expense!)Finally dealing with debt: 01.01.2015 -£10,562.:(

Its been a VERY long week this week, job !!!! pants but i did laugh when i over heard a girl i work with say "yea i would like to Sh*t pound coins as well mate but it just aint happening" - i nearly snorted my coffee!
I was in the mood tonight to go out clubbing, more than few drinks and a boogie but i have my money saving head on, so instead i have had 3x beers (we have lots left over from christmas) and im sat with a few dance tunes on in the background, i figure i will save myself £60 ish staying in. (and save mysef a massive hangover and a few blisters!)
I have no eaten yet today (long day at work, no lunch break #busybee) so i reckon a couple more and i will be on the floor :eek: :rotfl:
Enjoy your friday night peeps :beer:Finally dealing with debt: 01.01.2015 -£10,562.:(
