Hope all goes well niptuckfan. I get really mixed emotions between excitement and nerves, 1 week to go for mine. I think staying away from Google is a good plan although not sure if I could practice what I preach. Was that blood from your 16W appt? I didn't get any blood taken at my last appointment which I was surprised about.

    Hi ladies

Thank you sweetilemon, my mw appt went well yesterday; and I see her again in 4 weeks, then 2 as next routine bloods are at 28 weeks. It wasn't a terribly interesting appt; she checked height of uterus, felt baby's position and listened to heartbeat. She also felt movements from baby whilst having a feel. Also got my mat B1.

Had to take a day's carer's leave today to get my daughter to the GP; got four times a day antibiotics for the next five days... with instructions to give it either an hour before food or two hours after! Definitely not toddler/small child friendly!! Desperately hoping for a better night with her tonight! Mind you, what she was most upset about was that I stopped her going to nursery today. Luckily nursery are happy to take LO's even if they're on antibiotics.

Have my consultant appt tomorrow so hoping that goes ok and they don't argue with me about wanting a section. Not expecting a date but it would be fab if they gave me one! After the palava to get this appt I'm very worried about having to have another appt near the end...

Hope it goes well for you tomorrow niptuckfan.

Goodluck getting them to agree to the section if that's what you would like. Hope your LO feels better soon. You have a lot going on.
  • Hi all,

Hope your appointments go well today Saffagal & *niptuckfan*.

I'm just waiting to go to the doctors, spent all day yesterday throwing up after my morning sickness seemed to subside over the past couple of weeks & no episodes in over a week. Have been peeing a lot & woke up today with pain in my side so worried it might be a UTI. Got a bit worried yesterday as I didn't seem to be feeling baby move as much, but she's been making her presence known this morning!

I'm not sure if me being under the weather has rubbed off on our cat-she's been very snuggly & a bit subdued the last couple of days, and keeps wanting to snuggle up to my bump! Hoping that's a good sign as we have been worried how she'll react when the baby comes!!

    Morning ladies

Back from my consultant appt and two additional scans booked in for 28 and then 34 weeks and won't be getting a date for section until between 34 and 36 weeks. Have the dates and times for my scans and the consultant appts straight after already which is a relief as means no chasing up!

Hope that everyone else is having a good day.

Laura, struggled to read your post a bit but from what I could make out, hope that you're feeling better and no longer throwing up. Also hope that if you do have a UTI it responds well to treatment.
  • Glad the appt went well Saffagal. I think the forum went a bit haywire earlier as lots of posts I was trying to read had !'s and odd characters in them!! Seems to be better now.

The doctor said I had ketones in my urine, which I think can come about through not eating enough & dehydration, but no obvious UTI so he hasn't given me antibiotics but wants to wait and see the results once my sample is sent to the lab. So lots more water drinking for me! I seem to have kept my food down so far today, fingers crossed it stays that way!
