I think that's why I haven't cut myself off from her, I realise it must be really hard to watch a friend go through something you so desperately want which is one of the reasons I haven't shown her my 12w scan photo although I'm so proud and would love her to share that. She hasn't asked how it went. To be reminded constantly of all the risks and negatives that could happen is quite draining, especially as I'm well aware and trying to enjoy my pregnancy as much as it's realitively healthy atm.
The house I viewed yesterday is already under offer, our price bracket/requirements are moving so fast! I wish my flat would sell so quick but flats seem to be in abundance.
It's really harsh of her to keep harping on about your BMI etc, it's not really any of her business, and it's not a guarantee of problems. My BMI was higher than it is now when I had my DD, and I didn't have any weight related issues with my pregnancy, she's perfectly healthy. I know it increases the risks, but in many cases the risks are still low so try to ignore her negativity x
It's tough trying to move when you've got a deadline, houses around here to rent go so quickly. We lost out on several where we wanted it but several others did tooSo glad we finally found somewhere, we've been looking since January! Our house was listed on rightmove yesterday, and someone knocked on the door when DH was working at home yesterday to ask for landlords details!

Wow that's quick Littlemoog! Sometimes I'd wished we'd rented for the flexibility and it wouldn't have cost any more (loosing money selling just now) but the rent is soo much more here than a mortgage I couldn't afford the same. It's nice you've found somewhere before Christmas, gives you time to get settled.
This might be TMI, anyone else got white CM discharge? Not sure if I should be worried?0 -
Yeah, I've got loads of cm Sweetilemon, I think it's normal to have more in pregnancy. Only a worry if it smells bad or is itchy etc. (thrush)Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160

I have my early pregnancy physio therapy class today so looking forward to meeting other mums to be. Not sure if I'll go to the rest as they are so far away and on at 7pm-9pm, the midwife said she'd do a 1-2-1 but I'd like the hospital tour. House viewing today - fingers crossed!0

Welcome Kroberts! How are you?
Niptuckfan I'm sure everything will be fine but totally get it! I can't wait for the 20w but apprehensive at the same time.0 -
All good at the moment thanks. Baby was being lazy in the scan but was good to see it0

Hi all,
Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I can't believe my week off is over already! It wasn't a very productive week, but I did stay with and help out my friend with a broken ankle for a couple of days.
We also had our 20 week scan on Thursday, which went well. Although baby has been wriggling lots & I was worried might not be in a good position, the sonographer managed to get all the measurements she needed. Baby's heart is looking good which we're pleased about due to family history, but I am having a more detailed scan at some point. The sonographer also said baby is looking like a girl! She did explain they can sometimes get it wrong, but as she was scanning she got a lot of between leg shots in different positions and I definitely didn't see any dangly bits! Im so pleased, as my in laws have 2 grandsons so this will be the first girl-first grandchild for my parents! So mum & I have already been buying baby girl clothes we've seen in the sales-can't resist a bargain!MFW 2016 #32 £1574.66/£1500:j:j0 -
That's lovely laura. Great news about the heart. I know what you mean about the sales - so tempting!0
