Chilly?? lovely and sunny in Oxfordshire!! these twins definitely like ice cream, and keep making me put Ben and Jerries on the shopping list!!

OHs family have just come over for lunch for OHs birthday and given us a box of baby blankets but in it was 13 terry cloth nappies - awesome! MIL was surprised I would want to use them.

They have also given us a very generous donation toward buying stuff.

And I won a cot off ebay earlier for £10 - practically new. Will get a mattress obviously.

I'm so tired still. Hoping to look at a house again this week and possibly put an offer in. Will give us time to decorate before baby arrives.

So excited about buying things after the last scan, made it more real.

Hello all, just moving over here from the previous thread after my first scan on Friday! Currently 13+4. Very excited to finally be able to start telling people and start buying things! :T

Hi all, I'm 24 weeks today so will be moving to next thread, hope to see you all there soon.

Just wanted to say, I also get quite bad stretchy pains when turning over in bed (who'd have thought it took so much effort?!), sometimes a pillow between my knees helps, sometimes not.

Also I think I saw Perfect Prep machine get a mention somewhere? I've seen this on Asda website for £60 during their baby & toddler event which I think is still on, though don't know if they have any left. If not, have a look on Amazon because I checked there too and they seemed to have dropped their price to match? I'm not buying one at this stage but am price watching for future reference!

Also I popped in Matalan at weekend and they had loads of baby stuff left over in their sale, I got a few lovely bits with 70% off.

I love this weather too, been lovely & sunny today, but the temp has definitely dropped a bit which means I can get cosy in layers

ETA I think there is an Aldi Baby Event coming up soon, possibly Thurs next week?

Just realised I am 24 weeks tomorrow and so will be leaving this thread and moving on up :eek::eek:

- this week bub has been moving lots and I can actually SEE movement on the outside :eek:

- I still need to make a start on my baby book which I feel awful about.

- have ordered furniture for nursery (Silvercross Nostalgia Sleigh bed and dresser) - has anyone else got this or have any thoughts?

- *think* I have picked travel system - just need to order now.

- baby hangers are officially the cutest things ever :rotfl:

- I am still signed off work until next week and am unsure what to do then. Do I need to make another appointment with doctor to discuss?

Don't know how you've kept it quiet so long Bean83, I caved after my 9.5weeks scan! Seems like sooo long since I found out, I'm only 13 weeks. Enjoy the announcement!

Enjoy your 3rd trimester hieveryone. Before you run off, where did you get your baby hangers? I've seen some lovely ones but all very pricey. My own hangers are all wooden and I'd like babies to all match, can't stand mismatch hangers but don't want to take up too much of the wardrobe budget!
