Just realised I hadn't added myself to the list so have updated above.

    Welcome Katy!

Slowlyfading - how exciting feeling the baby! I can't wait to feel it, as now the morning sickness has faded I don't feel very pregnant! I didn't feel anything with DD until about 24 weeks but I had an anterior placenta. I thought I felt a flip flop in there the other night but couldn't be sure.

Welcome all newbies!! Great to have you here!

slowly fading, isn't it the BEST feeling baby move?! I don't blame you for waking DH. You'll start feeling them at the most odd times now! :D And like you say, bit of a start reminder that we've all got something growing inside of us... Eeek!

musogirl295, it's horrid being in that in between time between sickness and feeling movement, isn't it? I am sure you will feel it for sure soon enough, I definitely felt movement earlier with my second pregnancy, although it sounds like this flip flop was pretty likely to be baby! :)

I had my 20 week scan on Monday and have actually turned 20 weeks today. I held off updating as I was rather anxious yesterday, as at 19+6 is when we miscarried in my last pregnancy. Logically I know that this pregnancy is very different to the last, but it doesn't stop your mind from worrying on specific dates! Happily we're now past that day. :) The 20 week scan on Monday went exceptionally well, baby is as they should be, and my parents got to come in briefly too which was wonderful. So all in all, I'm rather happy. :D

    Hope everyone else is well?

Duly updating the list and moving some ladies who are past 24 weeks up to the graduates list... Suddenly we all seem to have come quite far up the list, eeeek!

(Edit: Just noticed, the graduates list is longer than those who are currently on the thread - anyone know when the cut off is to remove people from the graduate list? 10 people on the list? It's not obvious anywhere previous...)

Nice to have another team yellow buddy Mrs_I! Glad your scan went well, and another hurdle jumped after passing 19+6. All the 3rd tri lot seem to say is how quickly it goes after the 24 week mark, so we'll be meting our little ones before you know it :)

Hi all, glad to hear how you're all getting on. My 20 week scan went well, baby is healthy and has the cutest little feet! We are team yellow.

I think I'm starting to feel baby movea little these days, feels reassuring.

Sorry I never replied before when someone asked me where I got my maternity leggings from. They belonged to my sister previously but they are George at asda. I'm so lucky she had just finished having babies when I got pregnant (she's got four and she's happy) so she gave me all her mat clothes. I've bought myself some skinny maternity jeans from George online though as I'm a lot taller than her! I can highly recommend the jeans, they're lovely and cosy over my bump and they look lovely and fit well.

Is anyone else finding sleep is interrupted due to being uncomfortable? I've found pillows under and in between legs and a wedge pillow under bump has helped, but I still want to change sides every couple of hours and that wakes me up.

Really glad to hear your 20 week scan went well, caitybabes - and welcome to Team Yellow!! :j I shall update the list and put you with us fellow yellows. ;)

Like you, caity, I am beginning to find my sleep a little bit interrupted due to feeling uncomfortable (and the mid-night toilet dash), end up wanting to switch sides every couple of hours. Again, like you, I've found propping up bump with a pillow or something helps. :)

We'll have a nice chunk of yellows once slowlyfading has her scan :) I don't know about anyone else but even though we really want the surprise, I couldn't stop trying to see between the legs! Like as a kid when you tried to find xmas/birthday presents then got disappointed if you did...

  • Hi all, not been around for a bit. Had a little more energy so been super busy with work etc.
20 week scan was great, everything as it should be and growing well :) funny how baby doesn't fit on the page for a photo anymore, so you can actually see it better in earlier pics(!)
We have to have regular growth scans and checks because of my medical background so will see baby every 2-3 weeks now :)
I'm pretty sure I can feel baby now, the sonographer said the placenta is at the front so it might take longer to feel but I'm getting some definite twitches now, DH even felt some on Friday :)
Just noticed I'm next to graduade-argh! I'm so inpatient and just can't wait to meet him or her (staying team yellow!)

    Hope you're all well xx
