To be honest I can't fault work, they've been fab. I'm only going in at break and they had a cover teacher do some lessons for me on Weds still. So Weds I did one lesson, Thurs two, Friday three.
It's the Easter hols this week and during this time I'm going to have an occupational health appointment to see if there is anything extra work can do for me. But they have been fab so far. I can't fault them.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Hi everyone
Glad work have been so good with you twinklie, it certainly takes a certain amount of stress away when you have their support. Keep looking after yourself
Yay, welcome to team yellow Pm04gn!
My bump has definitely risen the last week. I'm not sure it's got much bigger than the spurt it had a few weeks ago but now it's higher it's much more noticeable. Oddly it looks bigger when I wear a bump band under a top? I keep reading that my belly button will probably pop out soon, but mine seems to be...disappearing. As in, it's closing up rather than popping out! Strange. I have also either pulled a muscle or have a touch of sciatica in my right hip - very painful. Other than that I feel great atm - wouldn't feel preggo if it wasn't for the bump, boobs and kicks!
Hope everyone else is doing wellDS - 08/15

Hi all, hope everyone is doing ok.
I've booked in to have a private scan on Monday after working myself up a bit over the last couple of days. Woke up to a bad stomach (IYKWIM without going into grim detail!) yesterday accompanied by bad stomach cramps which lasted all day. I actually had my 16 week MW appointment yesterday and mentioned it to her but she didn't seem worried, just told me to keep hydrated. Although the nasty issue cleared up quite quickly the stomach cramps lasted much longer and of course I started worrying that it was something else going on. Woke up this morning with absolutely no nausea or morning sickness. Although I haven't actually been sick much over the last few weeks I always wake up feeling sick so now I'm worried that that's a sign that something has changed! So although in my head I'm able to rationalise that everything is most likely fine the thought of waiting until my 20 week scan is torture especially seeing as we're going on holiday in a couple of weeks and I won't be able to relax.
I feel like a bit of a drama queen but I figure £80 is a small price to pay for a months peace of mind and sanity!0 -
Hi all, :j
Coming over to join, had our official scan today and all looking good so beginning to feel real now.
Due 5/10/2015 which is annoying because my sons second birthday is 4/10.
Baby number 5 for us (although 2x stillbirths so two children at home) because of this they have offered to scan me every two weeks from 26 weeks however we declined. Had that with all pervious pregnancies and it just increases my anxiety rather than helping.
Not on here as much as I used to be but hope to pop in when I can. Hope everything is going well for you all.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

twinklie, I'm so glad your work are being so good to you and so supportive! Definitely makes it alot easier when you have such supportive colleagues. Make sure you rest up during the Easter break.
Claire, so glad to hear you're feeling so well! Most peculiar about the belly button, mine certainly seems to be "flattening" as a prelude to popping out.
musogirl295, *big hugs*. I genuinely think you have done the right thing in booking a private scan - you can't put a price on the peace of mind and hence the lack of stress you will get as a result. I ended up going to my midwife the other week utterly convinced something was wrong - she said herself that no matter how much you rationalise it all in your head, it can't stop that fear/worry until you've had some confirmation all is fine. Let us know how Monday goes, although I'm sure all is okay.
Welcome to the thread, Kitten_Pie! It sounds like your health professionals are keeping an eye on you and I'm sure if you wanted something checking out they would have no issues in doing so given your history.(Mine are doing the same).
And finally, welcome to the thread, Nickyseptbaby!! Lovely to see you here.

Thanks Miss I I got myself a bit worked up about it last night and then woke up at 5am going over all the symptoms that have suddenly stopped. I had zero MS this morning and I've been sleeping better (not as many bathroom wake ups or having to change position due to aches and pains). I've also had quite a hard bump for the last 5 or 6 weeks and when I woke up this morning it had gone soft. So I ended up ringing the maternity helpline when they opened at 8 and they asked me to go straight into delivery suite to be checked out. The fact that they said that straight away made me feel a bit less of a drama queen. Anyway after a nearly 2 hour wait to be seen the MW couldn't find the heartbeat so then I had to wait for a doctor to come and do a full scan. And it took forever to find but there was a heartbeat and nothing obviously wrong!
So we've still got our private scan booked for monday but now we can relax we're going to use it as a nice opportunity to take daughter to see the baby and hopefully find out the sex a bit early!0 -
Oh god muso that sounds horrific! So pleased everything seems alright. I think at about 17 weeks I remember starting to feel so much better, & being highly suspicious! I think baby shifted and was deeper/further in (?) as my bump seemed to stall size wise around that time. If it wasn't for the ever growing bump and mass of kicks I'm sure I'd be calling the MW every 2 minutes.
Enjoy the private scan!DS - 08/15

Hi All
First time posting on these threads, but I am now 12 weeks pregnant, and had my 1st scan last Friday, all being well I will be a 2nd time Mum on October 5th. My son is now 6 so most of my friends are over the baby stage with 3 to 4 year olds, so it would be nice to have somewhere to chat all things baby again.

Good lord! I am 24 weeks tomorrow! ARGH!! I am feeling horrifically underprepared for this baby! I am racing towards the 3rd trimester and I need to get my butt in gear!
I should have my consultant appointment on Wednesday. I am going to ask her to scan me to check the positioninig - I know the baby is breech though as has been consistently since 18 weeks. Am still going to try and fight for my Breech vbac but I know she isnt going to want me to in the slightest so a loooong slog ahead! Hows everyone else doing prep wise?0
