pink petal, it's up to you.. I know the cosatto giggle had issues but the giggle 2 was fixed and no further issues have happened.
I've just realised I'm 23 weeks on Saturday, so I'm not in this group much longer! Still have long periods of time where I don't feel the baby moving but every now and then they remind me they are still in there! Feeling tired again, after a couple of weeks where I seemed to have more energy.Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Thanks! I phoned them and they reassured me that it's no longer an issue with newly manufactured prams and reminded me that it'll be under warranty if anything goes wrong...all very well but doesn't take away from what I imagine the panic would be like if your pram seat spins backwards and the babies legs are in the air!!! Spoke to OH at lunch though and we've decided just to stick with it. He thinks it's highly unlikely they'd take the risk of not sorting it properly! We'll see!!
wow, 23 weeks psycho! That seems like forever away! I was out with my friend who is 24 weeks at the weekend and she was saying hers has a wee party in there every night from midnight til about 6am and she is getting zero sleep...I'm hoping mine is more like yours!!0 -
I have a lazy baby definitely, but placenta is at the front too which takes a lot of the kicking. I usually feel little hits quite low down at the front, which is a bit odd. It mostly fees like bubbles popping but down there is feels a bit more like when your funny bone gets knocked (but not quite as severe!). My friend is a few weeks ahead of me but has quite a lot of movement. I guess they are all different and have their own patternsBecame Mrs Scotland 16.01.16

I remember in my last pregnancy being at a very important meeting, waiting until the end of the agenda when it was my turn to speak. The whole time I was there the baby was kicking me repeatedly and quite hard as well. I thought that no one else was having to put up with this and not react! Quite funny really.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0

Hi all,
Had my 20 week scan yesterday , all was good. Anterior Placenta so this is why im not feeling any/much movement.
Got hubbie to put up the 2nd hand cot bed, travel cot and co sleeper yesterday as wanted to be sure i hadnt bought anything faulty, all looked good.
Now wondering what i should buy to dress cot? should i get a bumper? guess some fitted sheets and a blanket?0 -

we were going to get a bumper but I read somewhere they aren't recommended unless they are the mesh style ones which enables baby to breathe if they shove their face into it. A lot of people use the sleeping bags so baby can't wriggle under it but have a look around and see what you thinkBecame Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Cot bumpers are not recommended unless you get the air mesh ones. No toys in the cot under 1 year either as they're a suffocation risk. Only use cellular blankets with a baby as they are breathable, but swaddles or sleeping bags (as long as they are the right size for the baby and not too big) are fine. Also mattresses should be new for each baby to minimise cot death risk.
If you're worried the cot looks too plain the get a patterned fitted sheet and patterned mesh bumpers plus a mobile if you want one.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -

Hello ladies how are you all?
I have one more week left in this thread... It's going fast!
Anyone have aches and pains yet? I overdid it yesterday and while walking to the tube station the bottom of my tummy felt very tight and stretchedtaken it easier today and it feels better. From quite early on my inner thighs, at the top, felt like I'd been doing too many lunges etc and for the last couple of days I've noticed a much more pronounced pain on one side, more so after I've been sitting for a while
luckily I have the midwife on Monday (I think, better check!!) so ill mention it then!
