Freddie- it was the graco evo avant. It's ob offer at the moment, so for the pushchair, carry cot, car seat and isofix base is £430. In the mothercare book it looks quite cheap, but it doesn't in real life. But have been looking online and I quite like the look of the britax affinity and britax smile so may see if they have the locally so we can go look.

  • Morning all,

Thank you for the welcome. Been reading the last few pages and I am half to see that random sleeping patterns/not sleeping seems to be a normal thing. I seem to be shattered at about 9pm, got to sleep between 9.30 and 10pm, get about 4-5 hours deep sleep, wake up to go to the loo and then can be awake from anywhere 30 mins to 2 hours before I finally drift back off and then spend the rest of the night sleeping for 20-40 minutes before waking up at 6.30-7am.

Rachel, that sounds like my sleep pattern!! I try and stay up as long as possible as I find I do sleep better, but it's such a struggle, and some days impossible to stay awake! I also wake up during the night needing a drink, but then once I've had a drink I wake up more often needing the toilet!!

I think oh really likes the graco pushchair, the compromise may be that if we get that one i want a pretty change bag!!!

I go to bed at midnight-1am.. and I'm up about 4-5 to pee and it takes until about 6am to get back to sleep and the alarm screams at me at 7:30am.. I also wake up to turn over, have a drink, take rennies, because the girls are loud, the cat barges in and jumps on my head...

My body hates sleep I think.. pregnancy insomnia is a thing unfortunately.

I was wide awake really early this morning so after going good shopping needed a nap!

Have my 24 weeks check up tomorrow, this time with my gp, I'm guessing they do similar checks to the midwife. May ask about physio, my back pain is getting worst along with my right hip, they may not buut I think it may be worth asking! Only thing is if I do get some physio I have no idea how I will fit it in with work! In the long run though the odd working from home day is probably better than going off sick as I cannot move!!

exactly the same Think.. work have to give you time off to access physio same as antenatals. Here the physio sees you once so you might not have much time to need off

I know pigpen, but we are a bit short staffed at the moment so I will just have to juggle the calendar a little bit. I can't just pop out during the day either as its at least a 30 min drive each way plus a 15 min walk from the office to my car.

24 weeks today. Can't believe I'm moving over to the last thread, although I'll probably lurk on here for a bit too!!

Popping in from main oregnancy thread just to let you know about a fab item my mum bought me:

Ladies if any of you are struggling with turning over in bed at night, then if you can afford it invest in a Snoozle.

    https://www.thesnoozle.com/

My mum bought me one and my God it makes turning over so much easier. I was dubious at first but it's great.

It's a two layer silky flat tube that you lie on and the tube design helps you roll over easier.

£24 from their shop, my mum got them from amazon but they don't seem to stock them at mo.

One of my friends is lending me her pregnancy pillow to try out, I've no idea what they're like so will useful to see. I think I'd end up on the floor with a glide sheet under me but glad you're finding it much comfier flutterby. :)

I'm feeling baby kick and move about lots now, and OH has felt his first kick. It's a mix of amazing and bizarre! Reminds me how quickly the weeks are going by though.

I hope everyone is doing well?
