That's our 20 week scan done. They were a bit short staffed today so it was quite brief but everything was looking good and they were happy when they ran through all the checks.
It's quite amazing to see such a difference at each scan!
I've been having a little look over finances. It's mostly once I go back to work that will be very hard to plan for beforehand, but there's a while before I need to think about that and hopefully I'll get plenty of time beforehand to arrange and plan.0 -
As much as I love the quiet, a full night's sleep would be appreciated! I had to go back to bed at 1pm but even after a nap I feel knackered
Food wise I'm soooo picky with what I fancy at the moment - keep going off things I normally like and eating at funny times. I'm glad my OH is happy to bring home all the random things I fancy on a given day!Next week I'll be back at work and have no excuse not to go hunting for my own food!
Beckyy I have no idea what we'll be doing with junior once I go back to work - I do shifts which I very highly doubt I'd be able to stop doing and I'd like to go back 4 days a week but it all depends if they'll let me. I'm trying not to think about it at all to be honest because it's so far in the fitire and I've so little control over it I just end up getting stressed so for now I'm pushing it far, far back in my mind!0 -
Hope the renovations are going ok Freddie.
The walls been knocked though from kitchen to garage, electrics in, floor raised and they've started bricking up the garage door.
I absolutely exhausted myself yesterday trying to get the nursery sanding finished off.
It's ridiculous his much time and effort it's taken. I've basically had it with it now. It's as good as I can be bothered to make it. Had 3-4 days if it now. Feel like I could be at it forever otherwise.
I'm going to paint it and see how I did. If there are any really bad rough bits I'll sort them later...or just wallpaper with textured stuff.
OH says I'm looking really gaunt at the moment and clearly lost weight. It's worrying her, I don't really have any weight to lose to start with. I'm doing too much at once with work, this soundproofing and decorating and the building work going on, trying to keep the house in a usable state with all the dust etc.
Could have easily just slept all day today. Absolutely useless at work. Try to take it easier tomorrow and make sure I eat plenty.Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)

Sounds like you've taken a lot on Freddie. Hope you get a rest soon.
We're in the middle of re doing the kitchen so having the juggle not really having one for a few weeks. Am sure we'll be OK. Trying not to rely on takeaways though!
Hope you get a good nights sleep soon ruby. Have been managing to sleep a bit better the last few nights, just hoping it carries on. It seems to take ages to catch up again if I lose sleep.
Glad the 20 week scan went well Beckyy. Ours is over a month away, will be good to see the baby again.
Did a rough estimate of income when I'll be off (thanks to people mentioning it on he here!) and think we'll be OK for me to have the full year off. Again the issue will be when I go back to work, but will try not to worry about that yet. DH has been training for a new job and won't qualify until next year so as much as we'd like him to take some of the year he won't be able to.
DH is away at a stag do this weekend so will be the first time without him since we found out! Am sure I will be ok, it's only a couple of nights, it'll just be weird.0 -

Made me chuckle Freddie. I'm not sure how people use their brains properly on such little sleep. My SIL said she still hasn't recovered from lack of sleep when I said I was tired. Her two are 15 and 11 now  :rotfl:
That's a good point psychopath. I know both our employers do so I think we can max out through both if we need to.0 -
Make sure you look after yourself Freddie.
Have an awful headache tonight, I had actually thought to myself earlier that my headaches seem to have eased (I've had awful heAdaches this whole pregnancy) but then this one appeared! Didn't help that we got stuck in traffic on the way home, luckily I had gone in with oh today as I would have struggled with the drive!
Oh laughed at me earlier, he got a new work car today. The first thing I checked was that it had isofix!!
We are going shopping tomorrow, hopefully will get a good idea of what pushchair we are going to get!! Picked myself up some New jeans today that I wAS looking forward to wearing this weekend.... I managed to leave them work!!0 -
