I've tasked oh with the job of looking at how isofix goes in my car, ordering and fitting it in within the next few weeks.x

Baby actually cooperated this morning and carried on moving about when oh put his hand on my stomach to feel movement- usually baby goes from somersaults to instant keeping still when oh puts his hand there to feel!!

Told everyone at work yesterday, they were so lovely and it really cheered people up as everyone is feeling stressed at the moment, and to my surprise no one said 'about time'. I've also told everyone else that I want to know now, so that's about it I think.

Also got baby the cutest little outfits, so, I'm not into star wars at all, but oh is a huge fan, so baby now has a darth Vader sleepsuit and a storm trooper sleepsuit, oh thinks they are fab!!!

Think, my DH came home the other day with a BB8 vest and hat. He thinks baby will go home from the hospital in it, he can think again! It is really cute though.

    Morning all,
I have no idea with car seats, prams etc. It's all very overwhelming!

We had dinner with a few of my friends from home on Saturday and we played them our wedding highlights video... at the end was a photo of our scan announcing our pregnancy. The gasp from everyone was so funny, most of the room were in total shock. One person was laughing saying she knew how it ended, OH and I were married... LOL, that surprised her!

I've also told all my work colleagues this morning, having bought in cake for my birthday yesterday. It still feels weird telling people!

I was sick this morning, and was constantly holding it down yesterday evening so I really do hope that ms is not about to kick in.

Hope you are all doing well :)

That was a lovely way to tell everyone psycho and glad everyone has been so happy for you thinkpink. But he'd look so cute coming home in it toots :p

Only a couple of weeks until our 20 week scan now, it feels like the weeks are flying by. I'm feeling more little movements but no big kick typing feelings yet.

I'm feeling really big now though, I know I'm not at all in the grand scheme of things but in comparison to normal it feels like it!

I don't think my bump is very big, but oh thinks it's really big and keeps saying I'm going to be huge!! I'm only 5foot at a stretch so there isn't much room in there!!

Oh that's lovely psyhco, such am great way of announcing it.

I told someone at work and she said she thought I was as one day she walked by and thought I was eating a lot!! I am a grazer, always have been and haven't been eating anymore than normal!!. I thought it was quite a rude/ odd thing to say!!

My work is manic at the moment,(would be struggling pregnant or not pregnant) but I've decided not to let it get to me as stress work be good for me or little one.

He has been moving about loads but the last 24.hours he's been a bit quiet, I do get the odd reassuring kick though. He will probably move about loads to distract me later when I need to revise!!

I must ring my midwife today and arrange getting my matb1 and book in antenatal.

    How is everyone?

I'm the same ThinkPink! When I told my workmates they were all saying 'That explains why you've been eating so much!' but I've always spent all day grazing... maybe I just have an excuse now. :rotfl:

I'm definitely starting to look pregnant, up until about a week ago I don't think it was very obvious but unless I'm wearing loose clothes now bump is definitely making himself seen!

How did you find your next maternity clothes?

I've liked the next maternity bits I've kept. I got some under the bump skinny jeans which I live in at the weekend as they are so comfy, I've also got a couple of dresses that I've not worn yet but will start wearing shortly. I did order a pair of over the bump jeggings but need to take them back as they fit me nicely now, but I still have an awful lot of growing to do and the panel doesn't have that much stretch in it.

I've given up on black trousers and will live in dresses for work.

    Morning All,

Would like to join if I can please?

We had our dating scan yesterday and were dated at 12w+4.

Got to see babies arms and legs moving which was nice.

We visited both our parents yesterday to let them know. My mum had an inkling because I never ask to go visit her. Even got a hug off my dad (he's not a hugger!). It will be my parents 5th grandchild and DH's parents 3rd.

DH told his brother yesterday, who then told SIL and two nephews who were all super excited. Had a nice whataspp convo with SIL too.

I told two of my friends too. One who guessed at a wedding last week and one who has just had a baby. Will tell the others soon.

Going to my parents for a BBQ today so will be letting my sister and nieces and nephews my side know. Not sure how the 15 year old nephew will take it, he doesn't like babies because he thinks they'll be sick on him and he's still wary about his 4 year old cousin :rotfl:

The Star Wars outfits sound really cute. We can't wait to get some outfits to dress them up in! One of my friends knitted a yoda hat for someone's baby so will be asking her do to the same for us.

Congrats justme... I think we were both on previous thread?

I always said if we had a baby then every day would be fancy dress day :D poor child!

If anyone was thinking of getting a nappy disposal bin (not discussing whether they are worth it or not, very much a personal choice) the angelcare ones are half price in boots and Argos, and the cassettes are a third off in Argos. I also got the lasinoh lanolin cream for half price as they had the wrong price instore in our local boots... Online it's only £2 off so worth checking.
