I love the Silver Cross Pioneer skint and the deal is so great! I really hope it is on after our scan. The only thing I am worried about is fitting the pram in my car which is tiny!0
-
Is that the deal with Mothercare? I think it is only applicable if you buy the Silver Cross Pioneer Hood & Apron Pack as well, which is £145.
Or was it somewhere else?
ETA: Oooh, I see, there is no hood & apron included with the pram. Just the chassis and carrycot etc. So you'd need to buy the hood and apron anyway. Ignore me! lol
PS. See! This is so complicated! lolFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Mothercare offer ends 20th January 2016. There's also 5.05% cashback with topcashback, so if you are sure that is the one you want, you may want to get in there now.February wins: Theatre tickets0

We went to babies r us today just to have a look and it is £550 for the pram with another seat for when baby is bigger and a free car seat (the sales assistant didn't know how long this offer would be on for)
Just looked online and the free car seat doesn't appear to be online unless I am missing something.
Toots, the woman in the shop put it in my boot and also tried the car seat to make sure it would fit for us. Our scan isn't until the end of the month so I'm not sure if the same offer will be on then, hence me thinking we should get it now.Married 1st October 2015:heartpuls

You can certainly put down a deposit using one of the mothercare payment plans, we did last time!
We've bought our pram for two, it can start and end as a single so its in use already, just need the second seat one baby is here.0 -
Lulu you're probably aware but it may be worth looking up TAMBA, there's two ladies with twins in my pregnancy group and they both get much needed discounts via the association0

ETA: John Lewis have price-matched it, and have the single one on price-match at £99.99 too: http://www.johnlewis.com/search?Ntt=medela&Nty=1&_requestid=30582169
We still have a £35 voucher for John Lewis from when we got married. I wonder if I can convince hubby to use it towards this.....lol
Thanks lovely. I just also had a look at Amazon, seems they have 15% off Medela for a while on top of their prices so the double Freestyle is £203 and double swing £152 with the code. I can't decide what to do! I didn't express loads last time because I didn't get the hang of it quickly around feeding schedules but if I can't feed myself I would like to give breast milk for a while if possible. The reviews seem to say that the Freestyle is a lot quicker than the Swing which is what is drawing me to it, also £50 more thoughHmmm! Which one did you go for euronorris?
As for being prepared, I haven't got a thing sorted yet, we didn't do anything before the 20 week scan last time except start painting the room and getting new wardrobes.
Our pram is the Uppababy Vista and I love it. We never had a need to get any other buggy or pram and our toddler still uses it with lots of room on days where we are walking a lot. It was £550 which is a lot (price matched Winstanley's pram centre to John Lewis to get the JL guarantee for 2 years) but the basket on it is fantastic and the pram goes up and down so quickly. It also fits maxi cosi car seats and comes with the adapters for it. The downside is it is quite heavy (though I could lift it into the boot after a C-section so not that bad) and large if you need to use a bus lots for example. I would replace it in a heart beat. The quick release wheels are also great as they are easy to clean. You can also have the handle at 2 heights and buy a buggy board or second seat if you ever have a second child.
I am feeling much better in terms of sickness but now worrying that something is wrong!Roll on the midwife appointment!

Not sure if it's of interest to anyone but bednest have available really good rental offer on at the moment - £69 for unlimited time including new bedding and mattress. It's height adjustable and the bassinet comes off so can be used as moses basket.
I liked the look of the snuzpod but even buying one second hand and replacing the mattress would cost more than the bednest. If the offer is still on after my 12 week scan in think we'll do it.
Very happily married on 10th April 2013
