sweetilemon, don't think she really understands it yet. She has now grasped that there is a baby in mommy's tummy, but spent today telling everyone we saw that she has a baby sister in her tummy.
I'm only planning on moving her mid to late December into the new room, just in case it upsets her sleeping. Far easier to cope with if I don't have to get up for a full days work!0 -

That's cute! I suppose if she thinks it's a special treat to get a new room it might be easier - good plan with the move in the holidays though!0 -

My DD has been telling people that there's a baby in Mummy's tummy, and she's got a lemur in hers! I think because we told her about the baby the day after we'd been to the zoo, and she really likes the lemurs! :rotfl:Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
We're also planning on moving my son into a big bed although as I'm not due until April I was going to leave it as long as possible. He is still in the cotbed at the moment with the sides off but has asked before about having a big boys bed so I am sure he will be happy.
It's a good idea about moving them in the holidays though
Aww cute about the Lemur LittleMoog0 -
That is adorable LittleMoog! I love how they've got such an amazing imagination when they are little.
Is this your 3rd saffagal? You'll have your hands full! You guys with kids already must be shattered, I'm knackered and I only have to organise myself to work and back. Feeding a cat and husband at night lol.0 -
Oh no sweetilemon! This is my 2nd.
Kroberts, mine is currently in a cot with the side off but if we're away for a night etc she sleeps in a standard single so think she'll be ok (hope that she'll be ok!) I've bought her a Doc McStuffins duvet cover as she is currently obsessed with Doc McStuffins (no idea why as she has never seen the show and has one pair of pjs with the character on because they were on sale). Am currently transitioning her to go to sleep without someone sitting in her room - she thinks I am sitting on the stairs... but whatever works!
Haha Littlemoog - that is funny! Our little people really do make me laugh with some of the things they come out with.
Ooh, I've been really uncomfortable whenever I've walked more than 2 min or gone up/down stairs today with pain in the centre of my pubic bone. Really really hoping it will settle and not worsen0 -
We love The Egg and Mima Xari. Stokke Xplory and Cybex Priam are also contenders at the moment.
I've been lurking, even though I really have graduated from this thread (28 weeks tomorrow).
I just wanted to say that we bought the Egg pushchair, as well as the Kiddy infant carrier and I can't wait for baby to be born so I can use both! I had my heart set on the Xplory until I saw the Egg. DH really liked it as well, which cemented it for me as he's never shown much interest in pushchairs - apart from the Aston Martin puschair that Harrods sells for £3,000 :eek:. He's normally happy as long as the handle is high enough for him - he's 6'3.
What sold me on the Kiddy car seat is that it lies flat and only takes up one seat in the car. DD1 hated her infant carrier and would scream any time she went near it. In hindsight, it was probably because she was a bit squashed.
Anyway, I just wanted to say how much I love the Egg pushchair and you're the first person I've seen mention it :T.0 -
Haha, oops, baby brain, saffagal not quite sure why I thought you had another! One LO and being pregnant I can imagine is tiring though. I'm counting down to maternity leave already at only 21 weeks.
Michbright I've seen the Aston Martin One! A bit out my price range though.0 -

Thank you, I love the look of The Egg and is my favourite, love the colours too. OH prefers the Mima Xari so I think it will be between them 2. I will have to go and get some demonstrations.0
