I've not heard of that before, had to look it up. Looks swish!
Thanks! ! The pram or the car seat? I was up - sold a bit by the sales assistant on the car seat but really like how if it's out the car it can be put into the lay flat position so it doesn't have to come out of it if it's sleeping.0 -
The pram, I didn't look up the car seat. My DD never slept in her carseat once the car had stopped (sadly!) though lots of babies do. She's the same now, wakes as soon as the car stops!Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160

I fell in love with that pram and really couldn't see past it. OH was getting frustrated I wasn't looking at other options but I just liked it. It sits higher than some prams too so not as much bending down. I bought the shopping bag as an add on as the one underneath is quite small. Also the footmuff and sun parasol. The cup holder was £12 too far - will save that for another day. I did buy adapters for the car seat to fit onto the pram chasay so hopefully I can make use out of that.
The only annoying thing was I was so excited my MSE head went out the window and forgot to ask for a discount for buying so much in the one shop. TBH though, not sure how far it would have got me as they were certainly not short on custom, it was so busy with pregnant women, there was a wait to speak to a staff member.0 -
So exciting buying the pram. We went to look at some today, we weren't buying today but getting an idea of what we both liked. Think we have shortlisted it0

Our pram has a higher seat base too, the Uppababy Vista, it's one reason we went with it as we're both tall and I have a history of back problems. We tried lots at the baby show, and once we'd tried that all the others paled in comparison, so we knew it was the right one for us, even though it wasn't on my original shortlist. DH is still moaning that we didn't buy the cupholder for ours, might buy it for a present for him from the new babyLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -

We love The Egg and Mima Xari. Stokke Xplory and Cybex Priam are also contenders at the moment.0 -
We visited Ikea yesterday - it was SO busy! Took us 25min to get a parking space!! But bought all the furniture we need to set up LO in her new big girl room to let me change her current room back into a nursery for baby. LO had a fun day at Grandma's house as we'd never have fitted the wardrobe into the car if we had had her with us.
Also bought her an easel for Christmas - it was on my list for her, but everywhere else retailing around £40 - at Ikea it was only £16!
I'm so impatient now for OH to move the computer set up out LO's new bedroom so I can put the cupboards/drawers together... Keep telling him I have to do it before I get too big else I won't be able to and he'll have to. He HATES putting together flat packs, and I LOVE it so hopefully this weekend will see the computer bits moved out!
But after the walking around yesterday, it feels a bit like my pgp starting up todayreally hoping not!

My sister has the Xplory and she loves it, its very easy to manoeuvre and put up and down. The thing I like the most about it is the way you can have the baby facing you or facing away, and the seat position is really high so you can talk to baby really easily.
I've been looking at the Stokke Scoot, which seems to have a lot of the same features as the Xplory but is a bit smaller and lighter. It doesn't have a carrycot attachment, but the buggy part can be laid down flat for newborn use.
Going pram shopping in a few weeks to try some out and hopefully make a final decision!0
