I did look at them both, i didnt really notice much difference apart from the basket. When I went to order it the only one there was day but the price in the pram centre shop was £689 for the day and all the rest were £799 so I didn't think the bigger basket was worth the extra. Everywhere else I've seen they are all around £799, even on the pram centre website so not quite sure why there's such a difference in store. John lewis are doing a free footmuff but it still worked out cheaper to buy that separate from the pram centre. I got the rain cover with it and bought the foot muff, bag and sun parasol. I spent £25 on the shopping basket add on so I had enough room for "stuff".
That's what I liked about the cybex cloud, you can lay the baby down
Thanks Sweeti - I was going to ask have you found them cheaper anywhere as everywhere online has them at the same price. I've seen the JL current offer but there's an independent baby shop near me that stocks them (and the car seat) so hoping if I go in saying I want this, this and this they might do me a deal. Was it nice to push and easy to put up/down? The handlebar is a big selling point for me as I tried some others with foam handles in mothercare and my hands had that rubbery smell all day!0 -
We've used the boxed in stair rise in DD's room for a changing table Laura_hoggle, it's worked out really well as it's deep enough to have her vertically in front of you rather than side on like most changers, which I find much easier. Ours was also wide enough to keep baskets of bits and pieces on there so everything is to hand. We'll actually have to buy a changing table for number 2 as we're moving next week! I'm looking at the IKEA stuva one, as it will match the wardrobe, has storage, is feet first and can be converted to a little desk afterwards.
DD's room was pretty cramped when we had the cot up, but we've got a wardrobe, armchair and 2 IKEA trofast storage frames in there! It feels more spacious with her toddler bed, even though the footprint is bigger than the cot. At the new house we're planning for the children to share a room as the second bedroom is nice and big, DD is excited about it alreadyhope she doesn't change her mind once baby is here!

It's really nice to push! They had a mamas and papas style quite similar and a lot cheaper but it wasn't quite as smooth. The wheels are really good. You can change the colours of the handles but I liked the brown and couldn't justify the extra cost. Yeah good idea with the deal, that was my only regret, I was so excited I forgot to ask lol.0 -
I think I will get http://www.argos.co.uk/m/static/Product/partNumber/3979657/searchTerm/MAMAS+AND+papas+rocco.htm for the nursary.
I plan to get the shnuggle for sleeping in our room the first 6 months.0 -
I have 7 weeks and 1 day left so 22 days as I'm only part time... eek! that is very little time though I am finishing quite early as have a lot of AL that I have to take before maternity kicks in.0

That is close, so exciting. I'm waiting to get my Mat1 and then will officially apply. I think it'll be around mid Feb, I will ask for accured holiday each side but not sure how that'll work because I'm term time with set holidays but only get paid the normal amount but pay is split. My other job have said because there's weeks (maybe one or 2) I had no work I have not had continuous employment so doubt I'll get maternity from then although it will be looked at officially at when I hand in my Mat1. I've said I'll just take 12 weeks if I'm not getting maternity, I can always refuse work from them if I'm not ready to go back.0 -
I'm not finishing until the end of February, unless I feel I need to for some medical reason nearer the time. With DD I finished 3 weeks before EDD, and then she was 2 weeks late, so I was off for 5 weeks in total and was going totally stir crazy by the end! This time I'm taking a weeks annual leave and starting ML on my due date, I have lots of leave to use so will be officially returning to work in early December, but I don't actually start back until January, and I'll be part time for all of February before I go on leaveLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160

How is everyone? I'm still really exhausted a lot of the time, but DD has a cold and has been waking regularly in the night for 3 weeks now  which is getting old now! I'm also really sore and achy, lots of round ligament pains and my stomach muscles are protesting at being stretched out, so I think I need to dig out my support belt from last time. The last few days I've had a nagging pain in my pelvis/hips, which I'm a bit worried is the start of SPD/PGP, I didn't have any pain like it last time, but 2 of my sisters have suffered really badly with it. Saffagal, I think you mentioned you were starting to get pelvic pain as well? How are you doing?Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160

I am thinking of getting a support belt and wondered what you would recommend?
I am 23 + 5 with baby no.2 (after a 15 year gap!) and my bump is starting to feel heavy at times. Didn't feel the need for a belt last time.
