Hi Lilty
Thanks for checking in on me. We are ok now but it was only finally sorted out on Tuesday night!
How's everyone in MSE land? Hope you're ok sweetie xnew challenge?£1 a day for Christmas 2024 £367 / £366 ~Got married 24/05/19 ~ Credit CardDFW Nerd #1155 ~LBM 25/2/09 ~ Debt at highest £8,037.35 ~ £00 -
Awh I am glad it was eventually sorted. Sometimes I have long grumps from Him. This morning I was called selfish and spiteful and nasty... for what you ask? For asking him to get out of bed at 10 to 8 and strip down/clean up Jelly as she had been sick all over the floor in her room and herself, bless her, and I had to leave for work or face my boss
He started sending nice messages about halfway through the day so I think he realised what a plonker he was. Did he say so? Of course not!
Everything good at this end!!Stressful few weeks at work over with for a whole 12 days break
Hugs! xx

Sorry I haven't been on here lately, OH said I'm always on my Kindle among other things when we fell out the other week, I'm still not totally happy about things but we're muddling through at the moment
still keeping check if my NSD and saving my Christmas fund, had to use my emergency fund to get my crappy car through its MOT
Hope everyone is ok, I'll try to check out some diaries this weekend, but I might not be able to catch up completely, so would welcome any quick updates

Aww KD, I hope all becomes well again. Like lilt says, don't make yourself unhappy.
Instead of thinking "oh no had to spend my emergency fund", try "it has accomplished what it's designed for, it saved me from dipping into credit cards or my savings". Proud of you! x0 -
Thanks guys with regards to my emergency fund, I did think at the time that at least I had half of the money saved up and thought similarly, that's what it's there for
I had thought for a little time that the OH might find himself kondoed out of here, but we seem ok at the moment!
I've done a little payroll course via gr*upon since the last time I was on here, passed it and got a diploma which has boosted mestarting another course tomorrow, Equality and Diversity, which is one of the free courses that Peaty had a link for.
Still working to get my crappy credit card sorted by the end of the year.
I need to update my Sig but I'll try to do that tomorrow.

Hi KD!
Really happy to hear that it's looking more rosey at home, we're all rooting for you.
How did you find payroll? What are the courses that you're interested in? I think the OU might have some as well..0 -
Hi Peaty
I'm looking towards HR courses, the one I found via the link you put up was over £2k, I've contacted a local college to see if they offer it, they have done in the past but not at the moment I'll need to check back when they've looked at their September courses.
The payroll course I would say was a basic course, Gr*upon for £12, I'd have been very disappointed with it if I'd paid full price for it, still it's got me a certificate and set me into a routine for studying, talking of which, I need to get on!

Hey you!! Well done on your diploma! And on keeping on studying. Wish I had the mental energy!
Glad things have ironed out a bit with OH. I hope you can find a balance where he feels like you pay him enough attention and you're not bored out of your skull sat in silence on the sofa in front of the TV 'being together' - that used to drive me insane with my ex.
Hugs xxx
