Washing mountain piled high here too. :(

And you've done the second one on your list. For reference my diary has piled onwards with gibberish and really isn't worth reading. Illness of small and big, work bereavement, colleague redundancy come to pass, and so on.

Still got to kondo my clothes, but have to collect some more yet! ;)

  • Well I've not been right since I had my chest infection, it took me another week to get over it completely and then this week I've been struggling with stiff neck and shoulder :(

Because I've been under the weather I haven't done any menu planning which has meant rushing when I get home as the men folk haven't been able to cook!

With my neck and shoulder still not great I decided that today's exercise was a walk with the dog, it was a little chilly but also lovely and sunny, I didn't power walk but was a brisk pace I've done the route many times in about 45 minutes but today did it in 30 :)

I've been sewing my chiffon this evening, not finished yet but not feeling the love with it :o think I might have been feeling a bit optimistic with my list of sewing projects to do this weekend :rotfl:

DS had his first driving lesson today, makes me feel so old!

Right next - going to update my list.

Sorry to hear you have been poorly! I hope you are on the mend now? Not menu planning causes issues here too as my mum at least now looks at it a makes a start if she can so If I don't do it she doesn't bother!!! Then like you I am running around like a mad thing when I get in from work!

Your sewing projects sound great too. But I feel your pain with the washing mountain - its never ending!
  • Well I'm not myself still, woke up with a sore face yesterday, OH said I've got face ache :( still not great today.

The only thing I did from my list was tackle the washing mountain, I felt fed up!

I haven't done any more of my sewing so I'll need to do something during the week (I wonder if there's any football on this week?) I want to make something for my friends birthday 1st April, I've got plenty of time.

I'm disappointed with my chiffon project at the moment looks like I've made a chiffon sack :rotfl: it's supposed to be a tunic, I will have to see if I can make some adjustments to make it wearable.

Didn't do any Kondoing either, but did fold everything Kondo style, surprising how little space it uses in the laundry basket too!

Hope everyone else is doing ok x

  • Found that there was football on this evening so I've made a good start on the gift for my friend, all fabric cut out and made a little start on the sewing but could feel myself getting tired so stopped before any mistakes! :)

  • Wow, it's Friday already!

I can't wait till next week, school holidays means I don't have to get up so early and all students and the majority of staff will be away :j I like seeing everyone but you can definitely get more done in the holidays :rotfl:

    Happy Friday everyone x
