I've just updated the bits in my signature, looking good:T
I managed to run some of the Race for Life and did it in 50 minutes this year, last year was an hour and ten minutes so really pleased with that and managed to raise a little over my target so pretty chuffed with myself:j
I've kept up with the run/walk since RfL on the 10th, which the dog is loving :rotfl: and downloaded the P0k3mon game and take the dog out for that too.
Craft wise, I've made a dress, a top and some alterations to a dress for my neice, I'm pondering what to make next but OH keeps dragging me into the garden while the weather is nice!
I took my mum to a hospital appointment yesterday afternoon, I am a complete nightmare, they weren't even doing anything to me and nothing gory to Mum but I still ended up fainting, I'm now banned from taking mum for her next lot of appointments!
News on the job front, I start my new job on the 1st August :j
I was supposed to do a hand over at work yesterday but what with one thing and another it didn't happen, so going in later this morning to do that.
It was the end of the school year yesterday and every year we have a big staff party which I was planning on going to as my leaving do as well but couldn't make it due to the fainting episode!
Right I'm off for now!

YAY to the new job!! Well done KD!
I love the sound of the clothing you have been making! I would love to make my own clothes - think I would just end up looking like I am wearing a sack though! lol
You are not alone on the fainting in hospital thing! At least 2 of my friends can't step foot in one without coming over all queasy / passing out! As for my 2 bosses and needles - well that's another thing all together!
Have a great weekend - hope you enjoy the sunshine in between sewing! I'll be back next week! xstart = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

Well considering last Wednesday was supposed to be my last day at my old place of work I ended up going in on Thursday and Friday!
Have had this week off before starting my new job on Monday, can't say I feel very restful, I've camped for two nights in the garden with OH's little one!
We've used Tclub vouchers to go to the cinema and bought popcorn from the shop next door.
We've done a bit of gardening but I haven't done any crafting
OH took his car for an MOT and while that was in process we played in the park and caught pok3mon!
We've been out for tea tonight and tomorrow I'm going out for lunch with mum.
It feels like a jam packed week:rotfl:new challenge?£1 a day for Christmas 2024 £367 / £366 ~Got married 24/05/19 ~ Credit CardDFW Nerd #1155 ~LBM 25/2/09 ~ Debt at highest £8,037.35 ~ £00 -

Oh Nats!
I absolutely hate itLots of little things that make me uneasy about it, I'm looking for another job! The only plus to it is that I have learnt a little about Sage, so I am going to do a course as it doesn't appear to be as scary as I thought it would be!
Cash news:
*I did get my car fund up to £450 at one point, but we decided to buy a new bed so took the money from there for my share but it's back to £100 now.
*Christmas fund is good, and I've made a small start on buying for Christmas too.
*Emergency fund is gradually getting there!
*Bank of mum debt is slowly going down.
Home news:
I'm going to be a Nanna next year! Currently planning on what I can make, my son wants me to make a blanket, but it's been a bit warm to start so far, and I want to make a few bits for Christmas and then start on stuff for the baby.new challenge?£1 a day for Christmas 2024 £367 / £366 ~Got married 24/05/19 ~ Credit CardDFW Nerd #1155 ~LBM 25/2/09 ~ Debt at highest £8,037.35 ~ £00 -
Oh KD - sorry to hear about the job. But there are positives such as the Sage course to come out of it. Fingers crossed something 'perfect for you' comes along soon.
How exciting on the home news... Nanna KD!
I really must think more about Christmas... the 1 candle I have so far bought will not get me far!! lolstart = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

Thinking about Christmas and who I need to buy for, I've got a few extra this year, my neice had a baby in April, my son has a girlfriend with a little one, so that's 3 extra!
I'm planning on making a cloth book for my great nephew, and possibly some items of clothing too.
Not sure about what to get the sort of grand daughter, she is 1 and a half, thinking of making something, maybe a doll.
As for the rest of the family, I have no idea!new challenge?£1 a day for Christmas 2024 £367 / £366 ~Got married 24/05/19 ~ Credit CardDFW Nerd #1155 ~LBM 25/2/09 ~ Debt at highest £8,037.35 ~ £00 -
Well, I can't believe I haven't popped in since last October!
I absolutely hated the job I went to and had the opportunity to go back to my old one so I did, same office but a different job, I went back in January and so far I am enjoying it.
I'm a Nanna now to my son's baby boy, born in March
Money situation is going OK, I'd quite like to get to the point of zero balance on my credit card, but it is all manageable at the moment and I think it's the next big money thing to do.
I'll try to catch up with my old pals and see how they are getting on, I promise to try and pop in more regularly.new challenge?£1 a day for Christmas 2024 £367 / £366 ~Got married 24/05/19 ~ Credit CardDFW Nerd #1155 ~LBM 25/2/09 ~ Debt at highest £8,037.35 ~ £00 -
