New car picked up today

Skint now until OH cash goes in on the 1st and then I'll make the first payment to the bank of Mum

I've been mooching about in TCB and currently have £5 to be paid out, but I'll be saving it until Christmas, got a Debenh@ms voucher through them last year :T and have looked at opening a bank account through them too, thanks Nats

Not much else to mention really, bunny all done and thinking about a blanket for my next project, menu plan and shopping done :T

Not much to report at the moment skint for about a week but freezer reasonably stocked so we won't go hungry!

Trying to organise something for my son's 18th birthday but not really sure what to do! I've always said that I want to take him to the pub so we are definitely going to do that :beer: I'm getting him a special guitar themed cake and possibly an engraved plectrum. His birthday is on a Tuesday so OK just for me and him to go down the pub but wondering if I should save the cake for the weekend after and invite others to join us at the pub. Anyone got any other suggestions?

So done the menu plan for next week

Got Mr T coming tomorrow, I prefer @ldi as it's cheaper but had a voucher for £12 and can't get special dog food at @ldi.

OH given his half of bills so I've been able to put some cash back into my Christmas fund :j

Booked hotel and coach for a trip to Wembley arena in December.

Found that I've got £30 ready to pay out with tcb

Next 18th birthday to sort out, spoken to friend from work about the cake, need to order the gift and decide what to do besides go to the pub.

Have to sort out the first payment to back of Mum.

Money front:

OH's contribution went into my account yesterday so...

I've made the first payment to Mum and set up a standing order for the rest of the payments.

I've put December's dosh back into my Christmas fund, February's will trickle through as it should and when I get paid next week I'll put January's back and then I will be back on track

I've made a little payment to the OK credit card.

And a biggish payment to the nasty one.

So money wise everything is kushty! Just so fed up at work at the moment, really think it's time to move on, been there for 6 years on the 10th Feb.

Anyway needed to stay on top of things and absolutely must get on and order the gift for my son.

My new car would not start yesterday, the dealer's have picked it up this morning, waiting to hear back from them

Hey, how you all doing?

Fitness update - rubbish!

~ I haven't been able to go to Aqua Zumba due to health reasons, nothing nasty just something that prevented me from swimming for a bit, sorted now and hoping to be able to start going again in the next couple of weeks.

~ no training done for Race for Life :mad:

~ weight seems to fluctuate 2-3lbs up and down so that's not too bad, still lost a hefty amount and dress size went down and stayed down, which I hope to maintain

Craft update - great!

I volunteered to host a mini craft workshop at work, so decided on felt animals with lavender in. I needed some samples so that's why I made so many felt critters :rotfl: I was only expecting 4 people to join in but had a few extra :T

Financial update - good!

~ almost at the point to be able to get rid of the crappy credit card, next payday should do it, thank goodness

~ bank of Mum has had 3 payments now so that's good, I'll up the payment amount once crappy card is out of the way

~ I don't keep track of nsd, I don't feel the need to at the moment

~ emergency fund, car fund and Christmas fund trickling through nicely

Work update - not so good!

I've started looking and applying for jobs, I've got an interview on Friday.

Hope everyone is doing OK, I'll check in with my usual crowd.
