busy busy busy here, last night boys had youth group christmas thing to attend, i had an emergency govs meeting to ratify something. we now all need to keep stuchm till official email goes out. thought id get the third degree off Ds2 (as its something at his school) but luckily he knows better than that. and somehow usually comes home and tells me what we discussed anyway. ive lost count of how many frantic emails ive sent saying hes come home and told me the kids know but its NOT come from me.
in 'work' school all day today, walking 'my' class to church for the morning, then work, then after all the staff and kids have eaten its our turn to have christmas dinner.

wanted to get last 2 parcels posted but they will have to go on monday now.

oh and its DH works do at the weekend so managed to book a manicure for saturday morning, hairdresser friend was telling me shed had a cancel while doing my hair yesterday so i jumped in it quick.

    Very briefly here..

    2 tidy room
    and a presentable hallway! ftw!!

Kitchen to tackle this morning.. I have about 9x 12kg loads of laundry to fold and put away before lunchtime!

I am dead on my feet.. Poorly Pixie went down at 10pm, DS3 was up at 1am with a hypo so I had to stay with him.. then Pixie was up coughing at 4am she came in my bed and scrabbled on me for 45 minutes until I shoved her off the boof and she rolled over and went to sleep.

OHs parentals are supposed to be coming today.. I am too tired to be civil or sociable.. and AF is on vacation again.. evil old bat!

Deco .. so pleased moggy wanderlust brought him home again! Silly critters. You now need to go back through all the groups etc to say he is home. Do you think he was trapped somewhere and someone just set him free?

  • Brill news about your cat Deco.

Whoever asked - re my not eating chocolate - I paid for some hypnotherapy for depression and it was a side effect of that. I am not complaining - it has saved me an absolute fortune over the years! I sometimes eat sweets but not since slimming w and gave up toffee which I loved, when I smashed a tooth!!

Just finished the tree and left in middle of the hall. Wrapped last four presents and about to go and tart self up before hair and lunch. D sis offering me eye shadow - no thanks!!

Catch up over the weekend. x

  • A huge thank you for your support and cat homing vibes you all sent. My mum came over last night and we put leaflets through people's doors, asking them to check sheds etc. There was a faint shed odour on him, so I'm guessing the nosey parker got himself locked in and the leaflets prompted people to have a look.

Actually, bar one neighbour (the same one who had screaming rows in the middle of the night) everybody I spoke to was so helpful, I'm touched by people's kindness and their small but significant action of opening up a shed meant that I was reunited with my boy.

I shall ring up the local vets at lunchtime and let them know. I've already said he's found on twitter and on my fb posts.

I've left him indoors, cuddled up with fluffy boy cat

Thanks again all, it means a lot

Aww deco I'm so pleased the little s0d is home :)

Well, DS is off school again :( he's coughing and pale with black rings under his eyes, and his "leg hurts cos it's getting longer" bless him. I was in two minds about sending him, but in fairness he'd just cough over everyone and pass it on.

So this morning, just the kitchen dailies and one wash. After lunch I've managed to do my room, so dusting, vaccing, clean bedding, decluttered and a bit of tidying in my wardrobe. Now we are watching polar express in bed :)

Glad it all went well, dusty x

  • town braved, and I survived! pretty much all xmas sorted now. We've had a bit of a wobble about dd1s bike - we ordered a 20 inch one and it looks really small - but she's still too small for the 24 inch, so it looks like she'll be riding this one for a year - maybe 2 at the most then we'll have to get the 24 inch. After that she can have a small adult size bike and she'll be done until she can buy her own flipping bikes (unless dh gets her into road biking.......:D) At least we have other children to pass it on to

just doing a bit of work now while dd2 watches telly (bad mummy) then off to get the squids and traipse down to football

hurrah for the moggy return!!:j:j:j:T:T:T My old cat went missing for about a week and I flyered all the neighbours and put adverts up in the local shop (before social media days!!!) - when she came back she was dirty and her claws all scuffed down and tattered - she must have been frantically trying to scratch her way out of somewhere :(

Sorry to hear Frizzle that you lost a mog too - I think its luck of the draw really -either someone is going to open their shed or not - they roam so far sometimes that it would be impossible to reach everyone whose property they might have gone onto :( Its very sad though to lose these little friends.
  • just back from work and christmas dinner, (which was a very nice courgette and cheese bake) neighbour had kindly taken a parcel in for me so id like to thank my very organised flylady secret santa as i now have a parcel under the tree.
DS1 has just come home from work with a certificate hes been awarded along with £50 of vouchers for being so good. (glad its not just me that thinks it)

Good news on your DS1 Mrs MP, nice to be recognised.

Bathroom cleaned except for the floor which I'll do next; Flying is a struggle today, obviously out of touch.
